CHEVROLET at ISLAND

I cannot say enough good things about Mike and his wife, Amanada! I recently purchased my first ever corvette and I am beyond thrilled with the process, communication, professionalism, and overall kind-heartedness in their dealings with me. I had to make the purchase sight unseen from Edmonton, AB. Mike made the process absolutely seamless and helped reassure me of the exact condition and what to expect when I see it in person. His transparency in the deal was above and beyond, and I immediately trusted him. His wife, Amanada, went the extra mile and picked me up from the airport at the exact time of my arrival. She then drove me back to the dealership and we shared stories and laughed our butts off. They both made sure the vehicle was perfectly detailed for the moment of delivery. I was so insanely happy about my entire experience and I will certainly be back for a Z06 when it's time to upgrade! Excellent service department! It was so refreshing to have people actually listen to our concerns and do something about them. Traci, the service advisor, was friendly and knowledgeable. She explained why certain things had to be done in particular ways so much better than the advisors at the Nanaimo dealership. The service manager Shawn took the time to talk with us, test drove our truck, and called to make sure that they understood our concerns with how it was driving. Even their communication while the truck was in the shop was better. I really appreciated the text with a link to see what they found (including pictures) and what additional services were recommended - complete with prices, so there would be no price shock when we got the bill. We bought our truck at Laird Wheaton in Nanaimo in 2023, and have had the same concerns the entire time we've owned it. We felt dismissed and brushed off by the service department in Nanaimo. In one visit to Island Chevy/GM in Duncan, they listened to our concerns, took them seriously, and diagnosed the problem. In two visits to Island Chevy/GM, our truck now drives the best it ever has. 100% recommend :)

My Cadillac looked so sharp I had to take it out for sunset photos! We’ve bought a couple of vehicles from Laird Wheaton now, and the service never disappoints. They were even able to move my appointment up when my schedule changed, which I really appreciated. The whole experience was quick and seamless — felt like being on a racetrack: pull right in, everything’s handled, and while it was being serviced, they dropped me off at two different places. I was able to run an errand, shop at the mall, and come back without any waiting around. This is why Cadillac is on another level — luxury service inside and out.
