It’s been a month since I bought a car from this dealership. I was sold a lemon. The check engine light came on within two days of owning it. I’ve waited a month, and they still have no idea when they will be able to fix it. Apparently this a known issue with the model I bought. They sold it to me knowing this was likely to happen. I have called multiple times, plus visited the dealership in person twice attempting to resolve this issue. I’m honestly not even sure they have bothered ordering the part yet. I was assured my car was not a lemon, as it’s brand new. The fact that it broke within two days of me owning it lead me to believe otherwise. Again, a month of waiting. More than 1,500 miles with the check engine light on, and no clue when it will be fixed. There are THREE other vehicles waiting for the same part at this dealership alone. Stay well away if you don’t want to end up with a check engine light, constant reminders to check your emission system and lack luster customer service. Avoid River at all costs if you still want to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. We were all set to test drive a brand new Trax and he tried to sneak us into a Santa Fe with 100,000+ miles on it. Every time I call about the lemon he sold me, I’m told it’s not a lemon because it’s brand new. Which the problem. Half the features don’t work, plus the issue with the check engine light. I finally got a hold of the parts department and was told it would be another week before the part shipped. Odd considering River went to ask and had no idea. Very shady and unreliable. Update. The manager here just raised his voice to me (I did not yell at him at any point, only asked what was going to be done to compensate for the hell they are putting me through) and told me “I’m going to do nothing for you because you have an attitude”. From the man who raised his voice to me while I was just trying not to cry.

Would not recommend to anybody! I bought a van may 12. It’s now June 24 they just dropped my van off because they was fixing it. Kyle and Dustin both shouldn’t work in sales. The van was cross wired so they had to send to another dealership to be fixed. Then when they was supposed to be here today they told me that they had to reschedule and when I said it wouldn’t work they all of a sudden could drop it off later. They dropped it off but only fixed 1 of the 7 issues. I will be contacting the BBB and attorney general. How they run a business is beyond me.
