Chevrolet GMC of Mount Vernon

We brought my husband’s truck to this shop through an insurance-approved repair, expecting professional work and basic care for our vehicle. Instead, we got the complete opposite. While the truck was in their possession, it was damaged. New issues appeared that were not present when it was dropped off, including paint overspray on the rear windshield, a broken door handle, and a sanded down passenger side door but they never finished priming or painting it. Instead of owning the problem and making it right, the guy in the shop was dismissive and refused to properly resolve what they clearly caused. There is a serious lack of accountability and care for customers’ vehicles here. When you trust a repair shop—especially one handling insurance work—you expect responsibility and honesty. This place did not deliver either. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Take photos of your vehicle before you leave it anywhere near them, because you may need proof of what it looked like beforehand, which we luckily do have and insurance will be resolving this issue for us. Because even if they had agreed to fix it, they are untrustworthy and careless.
