Chevrolet of Wayzata

I had a very disappointing first experience with Chevrolet of Wayzata while servicing my 2025 GMC 3500 HD. I was very clear with my service advisor that I only wanted an oil change and tire rotation. I understood a multipoint inspection would be performed, which was fine, but the way the inspection and service were handled was very concerning. During the inspection, the technician removed my engine air filter and cabin air filter. From the video/images provided, the filters were pulled out and handled, then put back in. I purchased both filters from another dealership for about $117, but they wanted to charge a significant markup just to install new ones, even though the technician had already removed them as part of the inspection. That felt unreasonable, especially considering I was already paying almost $400 for an oil change and tire rotation. The bigger issue was the lack of attention to detail. After the service, I noticed dirty grease/hand marks left on the inside of my truck, including around the glove box area, seat, and steering wheel. On a 2025 truck, I expect the interior to be treated with care. Leaving it dirty after service is unacceptable. When I got home and replaced the engine air filter myself, I found one of the front airbox screws almost completely loose, as if it had only been started by hand and never properly tightened. That was extremely concerning. If something this basic was missed, it makes me question the overall quality control and care being put into the rest of the service. Another thing I found concerning was seeing a sign offering money off service in exchange for a positive Google review. In my opinion, that makes it very hard to trust the overall review rating, because it creates an incentive for positive reviews rather than honest feedback. Overall, this experience showed a lack of care, cleanliness, and quality control. I expect a much higher level of service from a dealership, especially when paying dealership prices. This was my first time using Chevrolet of Wayzata because it was close to my office, but it will also be my last. I would strongly advise others to consider looking elsewhere for service.

We could not have been happier with the service all around from the entire staff. Jake was fast and fair to work with. Juan and the crew were efficient and accommodating. Juan even helped clean out our old car to transfer to the new. What a great help.

Service here was amazing and both Lance and Craig did a wonderful job correcting the prior issues I had with my vehicle. My vehicle had a lot of major problems which occurred way before both of them were involved and they went above and beyond to correct the issue and fix my vehicle to where now it is working properly, and I am extremely satisfied and grateful for the help and participation in the process, I would recommend for anyone that is having any issues with their vehicle to speak with and or deal directly with one of these two I think you both for all of your hard work.

Went to have my transmission flushed on my 2019 traverse and Mike (as well as his team) took excellent care of me. Scheduling was fast, Mike was super personable and polite. He explained in detail what was happening and how the inspection went. He gave a time frame for the work and everything went exactly as he said it would. Highly recommend this chevy location.

My oil change and vehicle service took a little over an hour, which was reasonable, and the team kept everything moving efficiently while keeping me updated throughout the visit. They were knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and made sure my vehicle was thoroughly checked before I left. I really appreciated the excellent customer service, attention to detail, and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for reliable and quality service.
