Classic Chevrolet Service

My parents and aunt have bought vehicles here in the past and have been very happy with them and the service they got. I just purchased a GMC Canyon from here and so far am very happy with it. I worked with Dennis, he was very helpful and polite and I had an awesome experience working with him. Great guy. My mom is considering purchasing another car from here and said she would definitely work with Dennis again( she went with me when I purchased my truck)

The purchase of a newer vehicle is always nerve racking for me. I don't take going in debt lightly. And I have never purchased a vehicle as new as the one I did at classic Chevrolet. To start with classic was the only place within a reasonable distance from my home that had the truck I was looking for equipped the way I wanted for the right price. It checked all the boxes. Thad Mickelson was my salesmen. He was pretty good with me, gave me my options and never pushy, seemed to be honest. Unfortunately at the same time during and following the purchase, I was stricken with severe sciatica so haven't been able to drive my new truck as of yet, other than initial test drive. I'll knock on wood here, as far as the truck being mechanically sound and reliable with no issues, is really yet to be seen. They did however waive the delivery fee as my financing payout was slightly delayed due to technical difficulties beyond anyone's control and could not take it home the same day. For this I am very grateful as I was not physically able to return for pickup. My only caveat so far, tires were not aired up to correct pressure at test drive and only one key. Note: im sure they would have aired them up had i asked but was in a great deal of backpain and needed to be done. I would most likely recommend Classic Chevrolet and Thad Mickelson. Love my new truck!!

I had an incredibly frustrating experience here. I was a committed buyer with a deal and financing approval already in place, yet Classic Chevrolet still managed to blow it. The Red Flags: • Safety Neglect: The truck had an obnoxious noise and a severely cupped tire, yet it supposedly "passed" their inspection. They ignored my concerns until I walked out, only then admitting the tire was "cupping and knobby" and needed to be replaced. • High-Pressure Tactics: They refused to fix the safety issue unless I signed a purchase agreement first. I’m not signing for an unsafe, unrepaired vehicle. I told them to let me know when the tires are on so I can do another test drive and make sure they fixed the issue, because I wanted it and was ready to buy. We continued to communicate your interest and asked for updates while we waited. • Dishonesty: Despite having my approval and a deal ready, they tried to sell the truck out from under me to someone else because I hadn't left a "deposit"—a deposit they never once requested. The staff showed zero accountability and got defensive when called out. I took my business elsewhere and bought a reliable vehicle from a different dealer that same day. If both sales and service missed a blatant tire issue, what else are they hiding? Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

The man we worked with, Chad Vandertuig, was a very nice guy and I was very nervous when I first got there because this was my first big purchase but very quickly I became excited.The atmosphere was very comforting and everyone there seemed very friendly. I love my new lil car

Etha, Chad and Todd were amazing to work with at Lake City Chevrolet. I was just looking and Ethan found the exact color, make and the right miles o needed. Chad finished out well.
