Had my car booked I , Dropped it off at 8 AM. I got a ride back to the dealership mid afternoon because my ride needs to drop me off early, which was totally OK for me. I would sit and wait. To then be told when I get there that they don’t even have my car going in today for what it was booked in for because they don’t have a mechanic to work on it. Not sure why they didn’t tell me this at 8 AM when I got there to drop it off and this had been booked in prior to for a very specific service. This is also a 45 minute drive one way to drop off my car At the dealership. That is two times I brought it in and had to leave without getting the service booked for it done when it’s booked in for a specific service ahead of time. The staff at the service desk are very nice people, but there needs to be some organization of what they can actually do for servicing for vehicles. If they can’t do it just say ahead of time. We’re not able to get this in today because of we don’t have a Mechanic.

I recently bought a ZL1 Camaro off of Competition Chevrolet and had it shipped to Ontario without seeing the car in person. Naturally I had a lot of requests and questions before the purchase and they answered every single one within minutes; the level of professionalism and customer transparency is incredible! After visiting a few dealerships in Edmonton, it wasn't difficult to choose Competition Chevrolet Ltd in Stony Plain over their competitors. On May 01/25 we bought the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer. It's now almost 30 days later and its time for an honest review. After having the pleasure of meeting and dealing with Bennett Polack, we knew that there was no comparison to the other four dealerships we visited. The pressure and lack of professionalism from the other dealers made it easier for us, and maybe that's something they'll have to address moving forward. Bennett was calm, friendly and super laid back to the point we felt very comfortable. Let's face it, people don't buy new cars often and when we do, it's nice to feel at home. That's exactly how we felt with Bennett at Competition Chevrolet Ltd. Having driven a 2018 Chevy SUV for the last seven years, (which we were offered a fair trade-in) the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer was exactly what we were looking for. With all the amazing options, comfortable ride and a price that was not comparable, we knew we made the right choice. Some of my favorite features are: Power driver's seat, 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, SiriusXM, and OnStar service, keyless open, heated front seats & steering wheel, all weather floor mats, power lift-gate, all weather floor mats, auto climate control, wireless charging, remote start, HD rear vision camera, high gloss black aluminum wheels and more. The Trailblazer rides like its name and with the AWD, and we know that it's able to cut a trail through the long snowy winters Alberta is known to dish out. Today I got a phone call from Sharon at competition Chevrolet Ltd asking us how we are enjoying our new wheels. She also sent me a reminder email for the 3 Free oil changes we have coming. Thank you Sharon! Also, a big shout-out thank you to Bennett Polack for making us feel so welcome and making our purchase memorable. Wait a minute, we can't forget a big thank you to Costco for the surprising rebate. Like, WOW, that was really appreciated. And last but least, I highly recommend to new car buyers that they purchase extra warranty. It's affordable and will give you that extra satisfaction of knowing your covered bumper to bumper for a few more years. Also, ask about Competition's winter tire specials. Let me tell you a story… It has been 20 years(!!!) since I purchased my Last vehicle. I have been researching and finding my perfect fit for 5 years. The time came to finally pull the trigger. Searching the internet, 30 different dealerships between Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC, auto trader, car gurus, marketplace and Kijiji and do you know who stuck out the MOST in the best way possible, Competition Chev. I dealt with Clare and Lon in the pre-owned division and they made me feel very welcome at not at all a burden with my 2 million questions, notebooks, test drives and more questions. Here are my FAVOURITE things from my experience: - They SMILE when they see you, shake your hand and want to have an honest conversation about what you’re looking for. Clare took my information needed for me to take one of their Tahoe’s on a test drive. I asked if she was jumping in shotgun and she said “nope, you don’t need me over your shoulder unless you want me to come.” We were able to take a nice test drive with no pressure. - I’ll say it again, NO PRESSURE. You feel like you’re talking to a friend more than a sales person. - Were willing to answer any questions I had (and I came in probably VERY over prepared, note book and everything) and were straight forward. In the end, I purchased my dream vehicle (a 2023 Chev Tahoe High Country) from them and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you Clare and Lon! You made my poor anxious brain much happier and made yourself a new friend.
