# Summary The dealership receives polarized feedback, with customers praising responsive sales staff and follow-up service from certain employees, while others report significant issues including poor diagnostic competence, dismissive management, unclear pricing practices, and lengthy repair delays. Negative reviews highlight frustration with service department failures to identify vehicle problems, lack of accountability from leadership, and charges that customers feel were unjustified, whereas positive experiences emphasize attentive sales assistance and courteous follow-up communication.
Very disappointing experience. They kept my Jeep for one week for a cracked transmission bell housing and kept making excuses that the technician was sick. I was told to arrange my own rental through Chrysler and warned I might have to pay $2,000 if not covered under warranty. I took the vehicle to a dealership in Brampton instead. They took proper photos, sent them to Chrysler, got approval within 3 days for a manufacturing defect, provided a rental immediately, and fixed it within a week. Huge difference in service and professionalism.
Absolutely horrible experience with Cooksville Chrysler’s service department and one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had anywhere. I brought a Ram ProMaster 2500 in for a diagnostic inspection because of a distinct ticking noise during engine deceleration. Before the appointment even started, I clearly explained EXACTLY when the sound occurred and how to reproduce it. Despite this, shortly after the appointment started, I received a call claiming they “couldn’t hear anything” and that the van “sounded normal.” I explained again that the noise was absolutely not normal and that we had compared this van against other similar ProMasters that did NOT make this sound. They agreed to take another look. Later, I received a second call saying that even the senior mechanic found nothing wrong after driving the vehicle around the block. At that point I completely lost confidence in the inspection process and was essentially forced to drive 3–4 hours round trip, spend around $70 in fuel, and take time away from work just to personally demonstrate the issue myself — the exact issue I had already clearly described multiple times beforehand. What makes this situation unbelievable is that the ticking noise was immediately audible when we arrived. Within seconds of startup, both my father and I could hear it clearly during engine deceleration. Once WE demonstrated how to properly reproduce the issue and effectively guided the diagnosis ourselves, the mechanic was finally able to isolate the ticking to cylinder 3 using a stethoscope. The dealership’s assessment literally went from “there is nothing wrong with the vehicle” to an $8,000+ repair quote — quoted by Cooksville Chrysler themselves — only AFTER I personally demonstrated and helped diagnose the problem they repeatedly failed to identify. That is an outrageous level of incompetence for a Chrysler dealership diagnosing one of its own vehicles. Had I trusted their original conclusion, I could have unknowingly purchased a vehicle requiring over $8,000 in repairs. The only reason that didn’t happen is because I insisted there was an issue, travelled back myself, and demonstrated the exact symptom that trained Chrysler technicians somehow failed to identify TWICE despite being given direct instructions beforehand. In other words, the diagnostic service I paid for was not actually completed until I effectively participated in and guided the diagnosis myself. I should not be paying for a service that I essentially had to provide because the dealership staff failed to properly do their jobs. Noah, the head of service/fixed operations manager, was dismissive, defensive, and argumentative throughout the interaction instead of acknowledging the dealership’s failure. At one point he sarcastically said to the mechanic, “sorry bud, I guess you’re not getting paid today” during the dispute over charges, which came across as manipulative and extremely unprofessional. Even more frustrating, when Noah first attempted to inspect the issue himself, he repeatedly revved the engine incorrectly and interrupted the deceleration before the ticking could even occur, despite us already explaining multiple times that the sound happened as the RPMs dropped. It genuinely felt like nobody was listening. The receptionist, April, was also rude and confrontational. Her attitude made an already ridiculous situation worse. The only positive part of this experience was Stephan, the mechanic, who treated us respectfully and professionally once the issue was finally demonstrated properly. At the end of all of this, I was still charged $171.75 for a diagnostic inspection that would not have been completed at all without my direct involvement. This experience showed a shocking lack of competence, accountability, professionalism, and customer care from a dealership representing Chrysler. I will absolutely be pursuing this issue further through Chrysler corporate, consumer protection channels, and public documentation of this experience because no customer should go through this.

Paid $600 labour plus parts to have a leaking oil filter housing replaced plus an additional $100 labour for an "engine shampoo" and $12.00 for a can of brake clean. Looks to me like I paid $113.00 for tech to clean oil residue with a can of brake clean and call it an engine shampoo! Very disappointed and would not recommend.
Sales department followed up several times to see if I had concerns and if I was content with the purchase. Service department always pleasant to deal with and like sales, follow up days and in some cases weeks later.
