Over the last month or so, Evan helped me find a new home for my old MB 6.9 and locate an awesome '57 Buick. Smooth and as advertised. Thx!
Best place to buy classic car good people and kind they know classic cars well love Evan
HORRIBLE ATTITUDE on the part of Evan McMullen. Just because there is a miscommunication or misunderstanding about something, doesn't mean be rude and unprofessional. As a car salesman, you would think that he would be pleasant and respectful just like they are at regular car dealerships. Definitely will not do business with this person and will not buy anything from them. The bad attitude turned me off immediately which is why I ultimately declined to do business by leaving it as "I'll think about it" so as not to seem rude. Just because the salesman was rude doesn't mean that I have to be. Even Mercedes Benz will treat you much better than this place. Both sell stuff on the expensive side of the spectrum with this place being specialized and vintage classic items rather than luxury cars. The item that I was wanting being an old city bus is not an item typically associated with being expensive nor being a high demand item or even a classic collectors item unless it's a GMC fishbowl. The price he was asking for this item is half the price of what my Mercedes cost brand new and what it's worth now. I get people can be awfully proud of and have their own opinion of what they want for their stuff, but that doesn't mean that every other person out there are going to pay for what they want for it. Sadly the majority of people out there are greedy and will overprice their stuff to get what they can out of it. Another fact: most people would not want to buy an old city bus and the market value averages at 5k in perfect condition which this item was in upon researching the market after I got his price which I knew was high for what it was but I just had to know how far off he was. I could see this item costing more if it were a 1960's antique collectible classic like a GMC fishbowl but c'mon, to expect 20k for an 80's bus that isn't considered a collector's item and is largely unknown to a lot of people outside the transit business plus isn't even considered a classic is just ridiculous and to get pissed off that you're not going to get what you're expecting to get is just completely unprofessional. This guy has some serious growing up to do unfortunately. Over pricing items WAY over what they're actually worth and what a real person would actually pay for them goes in line with these other bad reviews about this guy regarding similar shady practices from selling cars not as described all the way to simply slacking off on paperwork that a dealership has the responsibility to do and selling stuff for more than what it's worth. As one reviewer mentioned about him having to move from Seattle to Kitsap due to lawsuits I would not be surprised at all. That's what these crooks do: They get in trouble in one place and move somewhere else and start over until it catches up to them again. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. As other's have mentioned: you're being SCAMMED. The same model bus in same running and driving condition I saw listed for sale in another state while researching market value of old used buses sold for 5k. I'm glad I didn't fall for this guy's scam. To be clear, I don't mind spending more for something that's mechanically sound and drives, but I won't spend more than what people actually buy the same thing for and what normal reasonable people are selling such items at. This guy is greedy and wants your money, nothing more.
My boyfriend bought a car from him. Waited 2 years for the car to be delivered… Had to pay more money in the end. The car was not in the condition that was agreed up on
They took way longer for title than I have ever had any auction or dealership take. They put my refund check on my brothers payment check. Over all I’m not impressed do better guys do better. The service is all I can give credit for awesome auctioneers and pleasant office staff. But otherwise I’m slightly perturbed.
