# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with some customers praising individual sales and finance staff members for their professionalism and fair treatment during purchases, while others report serious issues including poor service communication, misrepresented vehicle features, and alleged failure to address a vehicle that suffered catastrophic engine failure shortly after purchase. Negative experiences center on inadequate follow-up, unsatisfactory maintenance outcomes, and significant financial consequences resulting from vehicle defects.

I had my truck serviced here with oil change and tire rotation. I was informed I needed 3 tire sensors because they couldn’t get them to reprogram after rotation and it would be $125 apiece and $450 to reprogram. I agreed because I needed my truck back. When I picked it up my speedometer was off by like 25 mph. I asked them to fix it because I had no issues with sensors or speedometer when dropping it off. They said they couldn’t. I asked for the manager and was told he was off that day and that would have him call me the next day. No return call so I called back and left a message. Still no call to this day. This was roughly 2 months ago. I would not recommend them for service.

Personally I'd recommend Randy Reese. He will look out for you in every way. Even watch your Weight and Height for ya when looking at vehicles. Thank you Randy Reese for looking out for me. Boy I almost purchased an Import I fit in. Perhaps when I come in for Maintenance Randy Reese can offer me some dietary tips. Please if you reply with a canned response just don't. It is an absolute insult to the public who sadly utilize this location.

Absolutely wonderful experience dealing with the folks at Coughlin Circleville. My sales rep Brendon, was attentive, helpful, and totally on top of it. Susan in financing was fast, accurate, and fair, suggesting the best option for me in completing the purchase. Highly recommend!

This dealership sold us a DUD truck… We had traveled from Crown City, OH to look at a Nissan Titan XD the dealership had online. The transaction began poorly as-is. The dealership was refusing to even fill up the gas tank on the truck with purchase. The truck was not detailed and dirty when we wanted to purchase it and the company claimed we would have to come pick it up another day since they couldn’t detail it that day. They communicated poorly there after about the condition of the detail and when it would be completed. Come to find out that when we get back to the dealership to purchase the vehicle after being told it was ready, the detail team had to leave mid-clean so the vehicle was never fully detailed. The truck was listed with several features that it simply did not have. It claimed in the listing that it had heated leather seats, for example. The truck did not even have leather seats. For these reasons we asked a lower price on the truck which the dealership refused as advertising error. This process was extremely long and the women’s bathroom at this facility had blood all over the place including on the toilet paper. I have attached a photo of the blood in their bathroom. Upon purchase the vehicle was positioned at a property that is listed for sale. We parked the vehicle there until we were planning to use it for a cross-country trip while pulling our travel trailer. We put several thousand dollars into upgrades on the vehicle like towing mirrors, running boards, backup camera, and tonneau cover these upgrades took a bit of time but the vehicle was not used during the upgrades. Once it was time for the trip we had made sure the vehicle was ready and safe to take our family on our vacation, 5 days into the trip while only putting around 2,000 miles in total on the vehicle since purchase in the middle of the Mojave desert the vehicle was completely immobilized without warning stranding our family including our 18 month old daughter and two dogs in 115 degree weather with no way to get out of the heat and no civilization nearby. Our vehicle had to be towed to the nearest Nissan dealership and our family was stuck in Lake Havasu Arizona for the weekend since the truck couldn’t be looked at until Monday. On Monday the dealership informed us that our truck had “catastrophic engine failure” and the repair cost would be around $37,000. The truck was bought for around $25,000. They informed me that a chunk of metal the size of a computer mouse had broken off of the crank shaft and was found in the oil pan. In communication with Coughlin I received a few calls back from the dealership basically informing us that they were unwilling to do anything for the situation and would contact us back however we have not received any calls back from this company. The vehicle was purchased on 5/23/2024 and was rendered scrap metal on 7/13/2024 with around 2,000 miles put on the vehicle since purchase and only having made a single vehicle payment. We put $7,000 on the purchase price of this vehicle and financed the rest. Since we were trapped in the desert with our children and animals we had to abandon the vehicle and our $30,000 travel trailer in Arizona. We then had to pay for a rental, motels, and a storage facility for our travel trailer since we were unable obtain transportation to get our camper home. I have attached photos of the blood in the bathroom and the photos from the Anderson Nissan dealership in Lake Havasu, Arizona. This purchase has financially devastated our family and will continue to devastate our family since we still have a lot of the mess to clean up. I will be in contact with media and legal teams regarding Coughlin GM as well as Nissan. We are offering to donate the vehicle to NHTSA since Nissan has declined inspecting the vehicle. This vehicle was clearly a safety hazard. This dealership listed this truck stating it had a factory warranty, and sold the truck with the impression that it did have that warranty. I have added the photo showing the truck was listed with Coughlin.
