# Summary The dealership receives praise from satisfied customers for efficient sales processes, attentive staff, and quick resolution of minor issues, with several buyers reporting streamlined transactions and positive interactions with sales representatives. However, multiple customers report significant frustrations with the service department, citing poor workmanship, unmet warranty coverage expectations, scheduling mismanagement, and inadequate communication that have led them to question future business with the dealership.

Had to write a review for my friends at Coughlin Ford of Pataskala. I was going to make a drive to Kentucky to buy a truck and saw these guys had a very similar brand new F250 Tremor, and they made a deal for me so I didn’t have to drive to Kentucky. I worked primarily with Joe Fallon who took care of everything. Thank you Joe! And thank you to the other employees who helped make the process a breeze. There was even a small defect on one of the trim pieces and I came back to the dealership a week later to have the problem resolved and they had me in and out in 15 min! Everyone I worked with was very helpful and polite. I highly recommend anyone to buy a new or used vehicle from this location. Thanks again.

Had a fantastic buying experience with Scott Riley! Painlessly purchased a new Ford Transit 350. All documents were emailed to me and completed electronically. Walked in, swiped my debit card for the down payment and walked out with a new van in under 10 minutes. Received great service and Scott took the time to get the telematics setup in the Transit before I left. We will be buying many more vehicles from Coughlin in the future!

The worst Ford dealership in the industry. My $85k truck has returned worse than it arrived each visit. Def fluid splatters down the side, oily hand prints, 3 trips to fix a sunroof, driven through a construction zone to test drive and returned filthy when delivered freshly washed…. Mandy is a joke or a service manager, Shop foreman has no patience, and service Advisor is powerless to actually get things done. Pretty sure my last oil change wasn’t completed as my truck oil life indicator dropped like a rock from 100% to 70% in 500 miles. Do NOT use or buy from this dealership. Photos of how it was returned to me.. arrived freshly washed. Service manager now ghosting me.

Called in to get a refund for extended warranty because our company has had so many problems getting our vehicle vehicles Warranty I explained to the gentleman I talked to on the phone that when they told us bumper to bumper coverage, should mean exactly that from bumper-to-bumper coverage. He then explained to me that I was not old enough to understand that bumper-to-bumper coverage back in the 60s or 70s didn’t really mean that everything from the bumper to bumper would really be covered. I then told him that it was my opinion in the next 10 to 15 years if companies like his the one he works for continue to do business like this it’s going to seriously hurt them in the long run He then explained to me that people‘s been saying that for 30 years and it’s still the same. I would not agree with that because the last three vehicles that we have bought, we have bought totally online, not even going to the dealership. I would not recommend buying any warranty from a dealership. They’re not doing it to make us money that’s for sure.

I scheduled an 11:00 AM appointment for my F-150 Lightning to address a safety recall, tire rotation, window issue, and Bluetooth connectivity problems. I drove across town to make that commitment on time, only to be told upon arrival that there would be a 1-2 hour wait before they could even pull my truck into a bay. An appointment is supposed to be a commitment from both sides. My time is valuable and wasting several hours of my day because the service department cannot manage its own calendar is unacceptable—especially when a safety recall is involved. This isn't a walk-in situation; I had a confirmed time slot. The service department offered to reschedule, but after already wasting my time getting there, I had lost trust in them. If they knew there would be a multi-hour wait, they should have called ahead to inform me—not let me drive across town only to deliver that news upon arrival. That's poor communication and poor business practice. After reading other reviews online, I've learned this is nothing new—it's a pattern. I wish I'd known this before buying my truck here. If you value your time, I'd recommend anywhere else for service. Coughlin Ford's service department failed a basic customer expectation, and I won't be buying my next vehicle from there.
