# Summary The dealership receives overwhelming praise for its exceptional customer service, knowledgeable sales staff, and smooth buying process, with multiple customers highlighting staff members' professionalism and willingness to accommodate their needs. However, one service customer experienced significant frustration with a warranty claim dispute, poor communication from service advisors, and a lack of transparency regarding repair costs and timelines.
What an incredible experience! Melissa was absolutely amazing, and so was everyone else at Country Hyundai. We spent most of the day at the dealership, and while buying a car naturally involves paperwork and waiting, the entire experience felt different from any dealership we've ever visited. The showroom was filled with laughter, friendly conversations, and genuinely happy people. It was obvious that the staff truly enjoy working there and genuinely care about their customers. One thing that really stood out to us was how many employees had been there for years. Some, like our salesperson Melissa, have been with the dealership for over a decade. That kind of longevity says a lot. A workplace that attracts and retains great people with such passion, professionalism, and enthusiasm is something special, and when you see it, you can feel it immediately. My wife and I have purchased many vehicles over the years, and without hesitation, we can say this was the best car-buying experience we've ever had. We never felt pressured, rushed, or treated like just another sale. Instead, we felt welcomed, valued, and appreciated from start to finish. I'm genuinely looking forward to returning to pick up my new Genesis G70, not just because I'm excited about the car, but because I want the opportunity to personally thank Melissa and the entire team for making the experience so memorable. Country Hyundai has truly mastered what customer service should look like. If you're looking for a dealership that puts people first, this is the place. Highly recommended!
On 9/17/25, my vehicle was towed into Country Hyundai with a flashing check engine light, running extremely rough. Spoke with Armando checked in with me on September 19th, and we reviewed what was going on with my vehicle. I indicated to Armando that the vehicle had been consuming about a quart of oil every 600-800 miles at this point, even with oil changes between 3,000-5,000 miles. He told me that diagnostics would likely be the following week and I would be charged that diagnostic fee. On September 24th, I spoke with Armando again and he told me that Hyundai wanted them to tear the upper head of the motor down to see if it was seated correctly. He said he was waiting to hear from Hyundai if they would cover this. I did not hear back until 10/2. I was told they were waiting on parts to be approved. He was being being told to take pictures and measurements within the engine. He indicated this wasn’t usual for them, to ask for measurements or pictures. He did tell me there was as a burnt valve at this point. There was no mention of pricing or current costs on anything and because of this, I was under the impression that Hyundai was asking for these diagnostics to be completed at their cost. I called 10/9, Lily got me the update and told me the engine was being taken apart and that the next steps were trying to get a new engine. She also said that you were waiting on a loaner fleet to even be able to give out loaners vehicles. 10/16 I spoke with Lily. She let me know Armando’s last day was Friday and that Sara was my new coordinator. I asked for an update on my vehicle and I was told that the engine was being torn down, new engine was waiting to come in and Hyundai was covering it. 10/18, Sara called back and gave me an update on my vehicle. She said they are waiting to hear back about Hyundai covering the engine. She said it usually takes a day or two so she’ll touch base as soon as she has more information. 10/20 Sara called and said that Hyundai will not be covering anything because of 60,000 miles/5 year/out of date. She said that Armando had quoted me work that had been complete and I promptly updated her that the only pricing I had ever been given was for the original diagnostics when Armando and I first spoke about the vehicle. She said she would look into this and give me a call back. After feeling uneasy about the whole last month and my vehicle sitting there, torn apart, I reached out to the manager, Steven Burke directly. If Hyundai denied the claim stating that the denial is based on 60,000 miles/5 year warranty, this should have been determined even prior to putting a finger on the vehicle. Why would Hyundai ask them to break down the engine if it was already past the warranty time in service and mileage?? Why wasn’t I notified about the warranty status prior to when I got a call from Sara with their decision? Why wasn’t I notified that any of the work completed would be at my cost of time and material? At this point Hyundai’s reputation for their engine defects are well known, including consumers entering class action lawsuits. I’m baffled at the lack of communication from your service advisor, enough that I would have to call in weekly to try and pull updates from people. At no point was anything put in writing for me to understand what was going on with my vehicle and lead me to believe Hyundai was taking care of this and while I understand your employees answering the phones aren’t the technicians, I was also under the impression that I’m receiving true updates about my vehicle. When I had my tow guy pick up my car, my engine was in a million pieces throughout the car, the technicians wouldn’t move other vehicles to let him get to mine even though I was told by Steven they would assist. This place specifically, and more so Hyundai, in general is a joke. I will never purchase a Hyundai again and will make sure anyone I know does not lose money and their vehicle by going to Country Hyundai.
I had a great experience buying my car from this dealership, especially working with Grant. Since I live a bit of a distance away, we handled the deal over the phone and there was zero hassle or back-and-forth—everything was straightforward and efficient. Grant was knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the process. When it came time for delivery, they were even willing to bring the car 85 miles to my home, which says a lot about their customer service. I ended up coordinating pickup with my own plans, but the flexibility was appreciated. The car was perfectly prepped—clean, fully charged, and ready to go with everything taken care of. The finance process was also smooth and respectful of my time, with no pressure or unnecessary upselling. Overall, a really professional and easy buying experience. Would definitely recommend.
Grant Church was an incredible help while my son was purchasing a new car. The care, attention and professionalism we both received throughout the entire process were truly exceptional. Due to a recent family matter, I had to cancel our first appointment; and Grant was extremely gracious and understanding regarding everything we were going through. His kindness, patience and professionalism toward both my son and me went far beyond what I would have expected. Grant provided excellent support throughout the car-buying process and took the time to thoroughly explain the vehicle's features, which was incredibly helpful. We greatly appreciate the experience and all of Grant's assistance. We are also thankful to Michael Silva and Anissa Giannini for the kindness and caring we received throughout this process. Thank you, Country Hyundai!
I had a wonderful experience at the dealership. **Elijah S.** was incredibly patient, kind, and worked very hard to help me throughout the entire process. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I also want to sincerely thank the manager,**Frank M.**, for working hard on the numbers and helping make the deal possible for me. He took the time to work with my budget and helped me get to a payment I felt comfortable with. I truly appreciate both of them for their professionalism, patience, and dedication. They made this a great experience, and I highly recommend this dealership!
