# Summary The dealership receives polarized feedback, with some customers praising the friendly and respectful service environment, while others report frustrating experiences involving poor communication, inventory management issues, and disputed fees. Positive reviewers highlight the professional and relaxed atmosphere, whereas negative reviewers cite unresponsive sales staff, outdated online listings, and billing disputes that left them feeling mishandled.

If I could leave a negative star review I would. These people hooked a code reader up to my car LAST WEEK and told me what was wrong with it. They then contacted my warranty (Asc) and was told I had bumper to bumper coverage and whatever was wrong should be covered. I then made an appointment with them which was today at 1:00 just for them to call me and tell me that my warranty couldn’t cover the part needed. So i then told them I didn’t have the $300 they wanted to charge me, so they got upset and wanted to charge me a “diagnostic fee” they did last week. I couldn’t get my car back without paying out of pocket when I took it to them under the impression my warranty would cover it since they had already contacted them. They should have charged me the diagnostic fee last week instead of a week later if that was the case. I would not recommend these guys. They have no sympathy and wouldn’t waive the fee like they should have. The dealership I bought the car from said they legally couldn’t charge me anything yet I couldn’t get my car back until I did? They were mad I couldn’t pay out of pocket for the part I needed put on so they wanted money out of me somehow.

If there were stars with negative signs I’d be posting those. The so called “store ‘manager” actually hung up on me after saying a vehicle was no longer available. Before him I spoke with a salesman who I will leave unnamed, seemed to be more interested in anything other than taking a $8900 sale. I mean ANYTHING! Their website has not been updated through the CarGuru, and I suspect many others they use. They are not open on the weekends. They say on the answering machine they are open until 5:30 pm. He even admitted it. Just don’t even call. Has anyone been to this place lately? I suspect it’s like a cemetery for vehicles and people who can’t sell cars. We live in AR and my husband was going to take an hour off early to drive up and test drive a truck, but this unnamed salesman says they actually close at 5:00. Must be his happy hour. The salesman tells me the truck in question (and advertised on CarGurus) has not been moved or turned on in over 1000 days. Yes. 1000. I asked if he’d maybe go out and see if it’d turn over before we made the trip up there. Actually have his voicemail saying it’s not available while it’s saying it still is on the website. What I got was some boy whose momma forgot to teach him any type of manners and therefore lost him many sales that will have trickled down through several family members and friends and now social media by the end of the week. I blame them personally and CarGurus for not staying on top of their inventory. But manners cost nothing. Absolutely nothing. Shame on this Countryside Chevrolet for such behavior. I assumed they didn’t want to work with a woman, and that seems possible, but I also see now it’s just a bunch a man boys not wanting to make real living today. Update: After I picked up my husband from work, the hour early, he called them himself, and he asked about the truck to see what was going on about it. He was told the truck was actually parted out. He replied “That’s fine, ok. Earlier my wife had called and asked about this truck. I don’t understand why you couldn’t simply have told her this same information. In fact you actually hung up on her. Also, when she tried to speak to someone and get an answer or an apology no one would come to the phone.” Of course there was no real reason or response to that. More like “I’m sorry sir I wasn’t here and I don’t know what happened earlier but I can tell you that truck is not available because it’s been parted out and shouldn’t be listed for sale.” The entire experience was a nightmare. If you do choose to go here be aware of shadiness in the salesmen and the whole management in general. I had very high expectations and ready to make a deal. I’m sorry for them. But I’m also being very honest in my experience.

I’d recommend Countryside and their auto-body shop if you ever needed work done. Their staffing have devolved a relaxed and professional workplace that helps remove that pressured feeling that you experience at most dealerships.
