Bought my first car here, a brand new 2025 Mazda CX 5 and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Ronan and Bryan were both amazing to work with. They were genuine, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and never once made me feel pressured or pushed into anything. The whole team was friendly, professional, and truly cared about making sure I was comfortable and confident with my purchase. I had a really good experience buying my new (to me) Mazda from the team at Courtenay Mazda. Loved the friendly low pressure approach. Extra special thanks to Mike, Ronan and Brian. Definitely go see one of these gentlemen if you are on the hunt for a new or used car.

The staff were very helpful and patient demonstrating the CX-5 and allowing several test drives. Although I eventually purchased a different vehicle I would still recommend Courtenay Mazda and would not hesitate to go back to them. Particular thanks to Bryan.

I would have given a lower rating, but I really enjoyed dealing with Ronan. I'd been searching for an affordable used vehicle for 3 weeks, and had my fill of pushy sales people trying to upsell me. Ronan was kind, attentive, and respectful. He made sure to understand what I needed and made no attempt to upsell me. He felt trustworthy. Unfortunately, it's Courtenay Mazda's policy that used vehicles can't leave their lot for independent inspections. They will allow outside mechanics to do inspections on their premises, but I don't know of any mechanics who would take them up on that offer. The GM did contact me to explain their position (risk of possible damage to the vehicle), but this is a risk that other dealerships accept as the cost of selling used cars. Seriously, who would buy a used car without an independent inspection? I had to walk away, which was disappointing, because I really wanted to buy a car from Ronan.
