# Summary The dealership receives consistently high marks for its knowledgeable and attentive sales staff who prioritize customer experience and go above and beyond during the purchase process. However, post-sale service has been problematic for some customers, with complaints ranging from unfulfilled promises and missing items to administrative errors and inadequate follow-up, though some issues were ultimately resolved when management became directly involved.

My husband and I walked into Crain Ford in Jacksonville and told the salesman Sean Welch that we weren't really here to buy a car and that we didn't need another car. He was very patient with us and I let him know that I get anxiety sitting in the dealership waiting. Sean found us the exact Bronco that I wanted and even had it brought over from another dealership. He made it such a wonderful experience that I didn't have any anxiety. Rachel Falls the finance manager was great as well. We had a wonderful conversation with her while we signed our papers and she helped to make it a wonderful experience. When we are ready to buy our dream Mustang, he will be the one we order it from!

Great dealer. Sales person (Erica) was very helpful and polite. They paid off our trade and put us into the vehicle that i loved. Would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone who is looking for a car. Erica was very knowledgeable and helped us get the best deal possible for us. The whole experience at the dealer was overwhelmingly excellent.

Kenneth made the whole process so easy and speedy! I usually pick the car and have my husband handle the rest, but did it myself this time around and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He went out of his way to work around my schedule and even sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. HIGHLY recommend Kenneth for your next car shopping experience :) Ps, any mamas looking for your next mom mobile- you definitely want the Expedition! I am in love!

My wife and I moved to Arkansas about a year ago, and after the recent snowstorm I was determined to find her a reliable AWD vehicle. She’s a teacher, and her students depend on her being able to make it to school safely. On February 6th, 2026, I visited Crain Ford in North Jacksonville. We’ve owned many Fords over the years and consider ourselves loyal Ford customers. We worked with Kenneth, who was friendly and helpful during the buying process. We selected a used 2022 Ford Edge AWD Titanium. The purchase itself went smoothly, and we even added the Ford Platinum warranty. Unfortunately, everything after the sale went downhill. Key issues we experienced: • Missing second key fob: The SUV came with only one in key. I asked for the second, and the sales manager, Steve, charged me $175. Later, I discovered that because the vehicle was sold as Gold Certified and we purchased the Ford Platinum warranty, Crain Ford was required to provide a second key. Even worse, Steve claimed he scheduled a third‑party locksmith to come to our home, but after more than two weeks we learned the call was never made. We ended up scheduling it ourselves. • Promised items never ordered: We were told the cracked passenger door speaker panel and rubber cargo mat would be ordered. Nearly two months later, after multiple calls, we learned they were never ordered despite being “approved.” • Door code Issue: When I asked for help retrieving the factory door code, the dealership asked me to bring the vehicle in, then tried to charge me $375 just to provide the code. This code has come standard on every Ford we’ve owned for nearly 20 years. Only after pushing back did they provide it. • Poor detailing and inspection: We were assured the vehicle would be fully detailed. Instead, it was hosed off. Carpets were still dirty, windows were water‑spotted, and documents from the previous owner were still in the compartments. When my wife and I detailed it ourselves, we found the factory door code and the owner’s manual under the spare tire—items the dealership claimed they didn’t have and even tried to charge us over $300 for a printed manual. We also discovered that some of the tire‑changing tools were missing, which should have been caught during the Gold Certified inspection. • Remote start and phone pairing problems: We had issues with the remote start and pairing my wife’s phone with the Ford system. The dealership was unable to resolve either issue. I eventually fixed both myself with online resources. Overall, the after‑purchase service, communication, and follow‑through have been the worst we’ve experienced with any dealership. What makes it more disappointing is that when we shared our experience with coworkers, neighbors, and people at church, many said they had similar issues with Crain Ford. I had really hoped this was going to be our Home for Ford Service. However, in the end we got a great car but Lousy Follow Up Service & Support, really too bad as I waited nearly 2 months before writing this review in hopes that things would improve. We love Ford vehicles, but based on this experience, we cannot recommend Crain Ford Jacksonville for sales or service.

I bought a new Ford F‑150 from Crain Ford of Jacksonville on February 13th as an out‑of‑state buyer. The sales experience at Crain Ford was great—easy online shopping, smooth phone negotiation, and a helpful sales team. The problem is the paperwork. Crain Ford of Jacksonville collected sales tax for my state, but the check they sent for my DMV registration was written to the wrong municipality. The DMV rejected it, and I was turned away. Since then, I’ve been stuck with delays and no clear resolution. Right now, I have a brand‑new $60k truck that I legally can’t drive because of a paperwork mistake Crain Ford still hasn’t corrected. The sales team was great, but the follow‑through has been extremely disappointing as I will soon have a giant paperweight for this paperwork issue. Currently waiting on Zach Meyer or Rob Jacobson from Crain Ford to fix this so I can register the vehicle I already paid for. Update: Finally was able to get the vehicle registered in my home state. Rob Jacobson was a great help and stood behind the deal. He even made frequent efforts to call and check in. Him and the rest of the team did an excellent job standing behind the deal and seeing it through. I would recommend them to anyone buying a vehicle!
