Cranbrook Kia

Recently went in to Kia Cranbrook to look at a used ford pick up they had in their lot. Was greeted and shown the vehicle in a fairly quick manor of time, although the general manager has been using it for personal use and left various items throughout the truck. As well as having to drive the sales person to the gas station to fill it up from empty before testing driving. While on the test drive, was asked by the sales person what does "4h and 4L mean, what does that do?" While taking about pricing and details the salesman did indeed notify me that the vehicle will be cleaned and window replaced (has crack from top to bottom). I had to point out that the tread of the tires are fairly worn and would likely need to be replaced by summer. The dealership was not overly willing to negotiate about the tires being a soon to be replaced issue and would take a few days for the window to be fixed. Trying for a better deal, I was asking if they could compare to other vehicles for a sight price adjustment, sales person was only willing to compare to other trucks throughout BC, was asking if they'd compare to Alberta for Calgary has a large truck market. They would not, which is fair, it is their business. In summary: It appears that the sales people(s) are not trained or have much knowledge of vehicles; I would suggest that those interested in buying from here do prior research for specifications and features. If you're looking for negotiating a better price, they are very firm on their pricing so expect to pay listed price on vehicles or at least used anyways. Don't expect buying a used vehicle purchase to be quick, for they'll need to do a once over and for repairs (if needed) to be made. Expect a for a day or a few before it'll be in your possession. Sales people seem to be friendly otherwise
