# Summary The dealership receives high praise from satisfied customers who consistently highlight exceptional service from specific sales staff members and positive vehicle experiences, though a significant minority report transparency issues during negotiations and unprofessional customer service interactions. While product quality appears reliable, the purchasing experience varies dramatically depending on the sales representative, with some customers feeling misled about pricing terms and others encountering dismissive or combative behavior.
Thanks to Curry Toyota, I traded in my old car and bought a new 2026 Camry. I love my new Camry so much🤩: it has plenty of power, the seats are comfortable, and the Autopilot on the highway is fantastic. Thanks to Curry, their prices are reasonable, and their service is great. Also, thank you to the sales associate: George.🌟
This dealership was a great experience for me as a first time car customer. Ramon in specific was a terrific help and he was always very helpful and understanding throughout the process. I was able to ask Ramon any questions I might have had, if he couldn't answer he would always transfer me to someone who could. Enjoying my 2023 RAV 4 with no issues as well. Terrific experience at Curry Toyota and lovely experience speaking to Ramon!
We had such a great experience working with George at Curry Toyota! From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly helpful, patient, and genuinely knowledgeable about everything we asked. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for and helped guide us to the perfect choice without ever making us feel pressured. Thanks to George, we ended up with a Tundra that we absolutely love. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, answering all of our questions and making sure we felt confident every step of the way. We’re so grateful for his time, honesty, and expertise. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and knows their stuff, George is your guy. Highly recommend—definitely a five-star experience!
About a year ago, I leased a Toyota Tacoma from Curry Toyota in Mohegan Lake. The truck itself has been fine and I have no complaints about the vehicle. Unfortunately, the buying experience left such a bad impression that every time I make a payment or drive past the dealership, I’m reminded of it. I initially worked with Chris and test-drove several vehicles before deciding on a basic Tacoma. The following day, we negotiated the lease terms and pricing via email. My understanding was that the price we agreed upon was the final out-the-door price, including all taxes and fees. I was satisfied with the deal and moved forward by arranging insurance and preparing to pick up the truck. When I returned to the dealership, Chris greeted me but then handed me off to another employee, Basil, whom I had never spoken with before. As we reviewed the paperwork, I noticed that the numbers were higher than the price I had agreed to with Chris. When I questioned the discrepancy, Basil told me taxes had not been included in the earlier price. That directly contradicted my understanding of our agreement. Rather than addressing my concerns, I felt pressured to proceed. I was told something along the lines of, “We all have to pay our taxes.” Looking back, I probably should have walked away. Instead, I felt committed after investing significant time into the process—taking time off work, having my wife take time off to drive me to the dealership, arranging insurance, and spending days working through the transaction. I was exhausted by the process and didn’t want to start over elsewhere. So I signed the paperwork. The additional cost may not have been enormous, but the experience left me feeling misled. A year later, that feeling hasn’t gone away. The Tacoma has been decent, but my experience with Curry Toyota was not. I expect transparency when negotiating a major purchase, and I don’t believe I received it here.
Long time Curry Subaru client. Went over to Toyota to get an offer on a Toyota certified used car. From the moment I entered I had a bad feeling - the sales rep forgot our meeting, didn’t update the manager about it. He had to ping-pong between me and another client. Then, he had no clue about the car I was interested in, but that’s not a big issue. Bigger issue was his demeanor, which was combative from the start, not listening to what I was saying. Took the car for a test drive, it was dirty and worse the gas tank was completely empty making my test drive experience stressful and very short. After returning, I wanted them to match the trade in offer from Subaru and maybe even do better and give me a payment offer on the car with a certain down payment amount. I was immediately met with attitude and Dismissal, like I was requesting something unreasonable or impossible. I just wanted an offer. At the end I was met with “it’s a lot more car than a Subaru” which… okay yeah so? The offered online price for both cars was about 1-2k difference. Just a very negative experience.
