Hands down, one of the most pleasant dealer experiences, we traveled 1400 miles because of how up front and honest they were. Special mention to Greg for being so great to work with and taking us seriously. Honestly, the hardest part of the deal was saying goodbye. But we will be back if we ever need another Cadillac. Can not recommend them enough!

I've never left a bad review for anywhere before, but I feel compelled to share my experience with D’Addario Cadillac. I recently purchased a 2017 Cadillac ATS 3.6 with only 37,000 miles, thinking I was getting a clean, low mileage Caddy. I've previously owned an ATS so I knew some things to look out for. Let’s start from the beginning. I live in New Hampshire, and D’Addario is in Connecticut. That alone made this a logistical hassle, but I was willing to make the drive for the right car. I had to make two trips down there just to purchase the vehicle. The first trip wasn't completely wasted. The car was on jack stands with all four wheels missing, out for repair/refinishing. Because of this I could get a good look at/under the car. Car had some dings and scratches typical of a used car, but underneath was very clean, except for when I rubbed the bottom of the rear differential and it came back wet. Gear oil. A known issue with these cars. I addressed this was the general manager, who at first insisted the car was being sold as-is, but then had a tech go out and verify the issue. I was then told and got in writing that the differential would be resealed and refilled with new fluid. Okay that satisfied me enough. If they opened it up and half the bearing material came out with the remaining gear oil I would hope they would address that. After leaving the first visit and waiting for the wheeIs to come back and have the diff serviced, I asked about the torque converter shudder, a well-known issue with the 8-speed automatic transmission in these Cadillacs. I even sent over the TSB pdf 18-NA-355 regarding the issue. I was assured by the salesman that the transmission had been flushed and that the service advisor had taken the car on a road test. I have every reason to doubt that either of those things happened. The car has the dreaded shudder under light acceleration, especially on inclines. It feels terrible, and sometimes the shudder is so bad I feel like the transmission wants to jump out of the car. Even under moderate acceleration sometimes I can feel it slipping. I already have an appointment with my local Cadillac dealer to hopefully get the shudder resolved with a flush with the correct new fluid, if it isn't too late. As if that wasn’t enough, halfway through my drive home, the rear differential started howling at any speed above 30 mph. Not just a soft whine—this is a loud, disturbing howl that clearly indicates a problem. As said before, I had it in writing from the dealership that the differential had been resealed and refilled, which is meaningless if they didn’t actually address the root cause. Either they did a subpar job, or they did nothing at all. What makes this all worse is that from the odometer reading at disclosure to the actual mileage at delivery, the dealership put over 200 miles on this car. That’s a lot of time behind the wheel—plenty of opportunity for someone to notice these issues. That leads me to believe that they absolutely knew what they were selling me and just decided not to say anything. Probably why the GM made sure to point out on both visits that it was As-is. Bottom line: This dealership sold me a car with major mechanical issues that were likely known and ignored. I trusted D’Addario to conduct themselves better than a bottom of the barrel used car lot, and I felt this behavior wouldn't come from an actual GM sponsored dealer.

“My experience with the finance department at D’Addario GMC was extremely disappointing. I have a strong credit history and was approved right away at other dealerships, yet here they initially declined me without any logical explanation and tried to push me into putting money down. The team seems outdated and lacks transparency — they really need to bring in new, younger people who can provide clear, professional answers instead of wasting customers’ time. Definitely not the kind of service you’d expect when buying a vehicle.”

My experience test driving a Cadillac Optiq EV was very positive. (Awesome car by the way.) Salesperson Eric was exceptionally knowledgeable about this product and easily matched my obsessive awareness of the auto industry in general. Pleasant atmosphere in the showroom and no sales pressure was very much appreciated. Pricing quote was very upfront without any hidden fees.
