# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with customers praising the vehicle-buying experience and some service interactions while expressing significant concerns about diagnostic practices, repair quality, and professional conduct in the service department. Issues cited include questionable injector diagnostics, poorly executed warranty work, incomplete repairs, and instances of unprofessional behavior from staff, though some service representatives have earned praise for their responsiveness and customer service.
Hostile Assistant Manager, False Diagnostics, and No Intervention from Leadership I brought my vehicle to Davis-Moore for a warranty radiator issue, and instead of simply completing the repair, I was suddenly told I had nearly $2,000 worth of “bad injectors.” These injectors were already replaced last fall with genuine Mopar parts, and when I asked how they were tested, Assistant Service Manager Michael Peters told me they “looked at the leads.” That is not a diagnostic test, and no data, readings, or test results were provided. The entire situation felt predatory. When I questioned the claim, Michael became confrontational and cussed at me in front of other customers and his own Service Director, Jeff Williams. I was frustrated but not yelling, and I had not used any profanity. His behavior was completely unprovoked and unprofessional. What made the situation worse was that the Service Director did not remove his employee from the floor, even after witnessing the verbal abuse firsthand. Instead, Michael was allowed to jump back into the conversation multiple times and escalate things further. If he had been removed from the interaction, none of this would have escalated the way it did. Once Jeff finally stepped in and reviewed the situation, he did resolve the billing dispute and removed the unjustified charges. Only after the bill was corrected — and after Michael continued making comments and using profanity toward me — did I raise my voice and respond in kind. That escalation would not have happened if leadership had intervened appropriately. After getting my Jeep back, I discovered the radiator work itself was done poorly. Hardware was left loose or improperly installed, and the overall execution looked rushed and careless. My check engine light has since gone away on its own after the radiator was replaced, without touching the injectors Michael claimed were “bad.” This only reinforces that the diagnostic explanation I was given was not truthful. This experience left me questioning the professionalism, honesty, and leadership within this service department. Potential customers deserve to know what they may encounter here.
Update: service advisor James is great to work with. They took it back and said they ended up putting on a defective boot. They gave me a loaner car as the part will take a few days to come in. Took my car in for warranty work and they replaced the axle/CV boot. I drove it home and everything seemed okay, while cleaning I saw that the CV boot is ripped and I now have grease spraying all over my suspension components and wheel. I’m new to the area and this was my first experience with this dealer and was hoping for a great experience but unfortunately it fell short.
Davis-Moore provided an excellent vehicle-buying experience. We traveled from Tucson, Arizona, to purchase our truck, and Big Al was outstanding to work with throughout the entire process. He listened to what we wanted, respected our decision to purchase a Ram 2500, and never pressured us to buy something we didn’t want. Everything was ready when we arrived, which minimized our time at the dealership and made the process smooth and efficient. Cooper was also a pleasure to work with. He took the time to walk us through the truck’s features and provided a thorough overview, ensuring we were comfortable with our new vehicle before leaving. I highly recommend Big Al, Cooper, and the Davis-Moore team to anyone looking for a straightforward, professional, and customer-focused buying experience.
Gustafo was the service representative for my "case". He was kind and greatly assisted in remediating challenges between Davis More and the insurance adjuster; he did great. As far as the actual repair work. It was poor. I rate this as such because any job that incomplete has not met the requirement as fixed. Since I don't live in the state the likely hood of the service work being completed is slim. With insurance and my co-pay the cost was over $7,000 in parts and labor. Reference pictures for an example of work not complete.
I had an airbag recall for our 04 Ram. I had called them late Friday and was not expecting a call that same afternoon. An appt was set up right away by Brian to have one their mobile techs come out and take care of it. Brian had called back not 5 minutes after I had called. That was a surprising call. The two techs that came out, Josh and Damien were superb in customer service and even explained what they were going to do. Ours happened to be the last one for the day and late afternoon. I was very impressed with their attitude after a long day and they represented Davis-Moore in quality fashion. Brian did a great job keeping me in the loop and letting me know when they were on their way and when they arrived.
