Buyer Beware! 1st Stop Auto in Durham is getting all negative reviews from me. They will finance anyone with on lot financing. I traded an 2011 Buick Regal I with 80k miles for a 2004 Impala SS with 97K. Owing $6199 financed paying double with their on the lot financing. After you sign the paper year just another number. Long Story short: I had the car I month and 8 days. Now. It won't crank. Ray the salesman wont do anything. I've paid the car off since then, after the outrageous financing percentage. Double the amount financed. My car has had no work done in years. Any car lot that ads insurance to the price of the car to cover repairs when it breaks down is not selling good quality cars. If you are walking and want a car I suggest taking the bus or Uber or thumb for a ride as opposed doing business with IRST STOP AUTO "Family owned and customer satisfaction" as on the website. I asked to have my picture added on a wall where lot's of smiling faces embraced by the salesman at IRST STOP AUTO in Durham on Roxboro Rd. @ Bon Air near Murray Ave. Perhaps I was not in the part of town where everyone is equal. I've contacted BBB.N.C. Licenses & Theft department. A civil suit is in the process. Change of venue is priority and stalling the process. This kind of business deal is un-American and violates NC statutes and safety inspections for driving on N.C. highways. I've been in the Automotive business 40+years.
