The dealership receives high praise for its sales staff's genuine approach, product knowledge, and friendly demeanor, with several customers highlighting positive purchasing experiences and trustworthy service. However, post-sale support has been inconsistent, with some customers reporting unresponsive service when issues arise and others frustrated by inflexible pricing policies that left them feeling undervalued.
We had a great experience with the sales and finance team when purchasing our vehicle. Everyone was friendly and the process was smooth. We chose to buy the vehicle as-is after the finance manager mentioned the extended warranty was very expensive. At the time, we didn’t think much of it since we were trying to get out the door with two small kids. Unfortunately, shortly after the purchase we started having issues. The screen stopped working and began operating on its own. The dealership did perform a reset, which helped for about a week, but the problem quickly returned and is now worse. Shortly after getting the vehicle back, the driver’s seat also stopped moving forward and backward. This is a major safety concern since the previous driver was over a foot taller than the current driver, making it difficult to safely operate the vehicle. Because we had such a positive experience initially, I called hoping they might be able to help or offer a solution. Unfortunately, we were told their hands are tied and there is nothing they can do—even though the vehicle goes through an inspection and it’s stated that everything is guaranteed to work. It’s disappointing because the buying experience was great, but the lack of support afterward makes it hard to recommend.
My husband and I recently purchased a vehicle from DeYarman, and we truly cannot recommend them enough. Every person we interacted with was kind, patient, and willing to answer our questions without a hint of pressure. We never had a single negative moment throughout the entire process. The real standout, though, was our salesman, Art. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has mastered the balance of showcasing a vehicle’s features without ever feeling pushy or salesy. Instead of putting us in the most expensive model and letting us fall in love with the features—as many salespeople tend to do—he did the exact opposite. Art started by asking us our non-negotiables and ‘nice to haves.’ Then he showed us the base models, let us get a feel for them, and then simply asked, “What are you missing? What are you looking for that this car doesn’t have?” to ensure we hadn’t left anything off our list. It kept the excitement when we saw the one that had everything we truly wanted and made the entire experience feel like he genuinely wanted us to find the right fit rather than focusing on just getting a sale. His approach with that level of honesty and care earned our trust completely. We left not only with the perfect vehicle, but with the certainty that DeYarman is our dealership for life—and that we’ll be asking for Art every time.
Worked with Joel & Zach today on a used Cherokee. Joel was very pleasant to work with and was able to satisfy my needs. Zach in Finance was able to explain everything from his side in great detail. You can go wrong with this Dealership - A+ gentlemen!
My husband and I bought a SUV from them this passed week. Joel & Kris were very helpful in not only showing us what we wanted to see but working with us on our budget and down payment. The entire staff was very kind, super funny and helpful all the way around. We highly recommend using them for your next vehicle.
I am giving this place a one star rating and I didn’t even buy from this dealership. I went in looking for a vehicle and found a couple I liked. I test drove them and wanted to see what the best price they could offer was as the vehicles were priced higher than average. They were not willing to negotiate at all. They asked what price range I was wanting and I told them what I’d be willing to pay and they simply said “we can’t do that.” A day later, I was again trying to negotiate and name my price over text to which I was met with “we can’t do that. We price our vehicles accordingly.” The sales rep and sales manager tried to make it seem they were understanding of my needs and financial situation but were not actually willing to compromise or discuss potential cost cutting measures. They just wanted to put me in an older vehicle or a vehicle with less commodities. Despite showing them the same vehicles, trims, and packages with similar or less miles that cost less money, they did not budge and was not willing to work with me. I feel the buying process for a car should be fairly easy and sales managers should be willing to negotiate but that was not the case here and it was extremely disappointing. I hope other people have better experiences than I did.
