The dealership receives mixed reviews reflecting significant inconsistency in customer experiences, with some praising specific staff members like Ian, Zoey, and Rob for their low-pressure approach and thorough explanations, while others report serious concerns about management's customer service, communication, and treatment during the sales process. Recent ownership changes appear to have created a divide, with newer reviews indicating potential deterioration in service quality and interpersonal conduct compared to the dealership's previously established reputation.
Had a very good experience! I bought my 21 jeep wrangler from Ian but the whole staff pulled together to make sure I left there happy. Highly recommend them. They recently switched from firelands and for being short staffed and under new management they made deals make sense! You guys rock πͺπΌ
Potential customers should be aware that this dealership is now under different ownership than the one that earned many of the older positive reviews. Based on my experience, the customer service, communication, and overall business practices did not reflect the reputation shown by past reviews. I encountered significant issues after my purchase and received very little follow-up or support when trying to address them. I would encourage buyers to consider recent reviews carefully rather than relying on the dealership's historical rating.
We actually bought 2 vehicles. From the start, Zoey was so helpful. Low pressure and thatβs how I like it. She allowed us to THINK! When we decided to buy, Rob Anderson walked us through EVERYTHING! He explained the warranty like no one else ever had. I was a working man so I appreciate the fact that Zoey and Rob were NOT dressed to the HILT (like most dealerships). We had purchased from Diego before but the experience in Wooster was WORTH a 40 minute drive! Thanks again for what you do!
Believe the bad reviews. Rude racist and disrespectful. The worst dealership (and also human) experience Ive ever had. I was wrongfully accused of committing a CRIME???? and then disgracefully kicked out of the dealership after driving 4 hours from NY state to purchase a car. Bob Mchue the sales manager is one of the worst human beings I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. I had made a deal to purchase and trade in my car with him. Went through all the proper channels, discussed all the out of state purchase laws with him in DETAIL, had everything organized and was making a 8hr round trip in one day to get this car i had been searching for, for months! On the day of, sitting in the office with my cashiers check, i was told my license (which they already had pictures of AND approved) was unacceptable. For context (a simple google search can back this up), in NY state when u change addresses within the state you do not need a new license, you simply write your new address on the back of the card and report your move to the DMV, which I did. They called this a FELONY and accused me of being a criminal even after I had explained the laws in NY. I was so confused and dissapointed and tired from my drive, I would've done anything to make the deal work out. I offered additional IDs, additional documentation, ANYTHING to prove I had no ill intention and it is simply a misunderstanding on their part about the laws in NY state. But Bob REFUSED to hear me out even for a second. Wouldn't even let me get a word in. It got to a point where I had simply just wiped the temporary marker off my license and begged them to reconsider (even though I did NOTHING wrong) and Bob proceeded to threaten to call the cops on me? He began raising his voice and saying he didnt wanna argue, even though I wasnt arguing, not once did I yell or curse. I am an honest and simple man that just wanted to purchase a new and comfortable car for my growing family. Instead of coming home to suprise my family with a brand new vehicle, I left disgraced and tired. I have never been treated so poorly ever in my life. A simple background check would prove I am not a villian, I have never done anything wrong ever in my life. In that moment after 4 hours of driving and my family so excited waiting for me to come home, I wouldve done anything, even paid more money if they wanted, but no. Bob had decided I was a criminal and he was going to treat me like one from the get go. The whole interaction made zero sense. I hope toyota reads this and I will be filling a corporate complaint.
Update: We finally got our car, and it was all thanks to Ian. If not for him getting things moving I'm not sure if we would of gotten it at all. He has been very helpful and kept us in the loop with everything going on. We are so very thankful for all his help and hard work with getting our car.
