# Summary The dealership receives praise for its sales team's attentiveness and professionalism, with customers noting positive interactions during the purchase process. However, the service department faces significant criticism for unresponsiveness, poor quality work, failure to honor commitments, and instances of dishonesty or miscommunication that have frustrated long-term customers.

We had a very pleasant experience throughout the sales process of buying our Fiat 500e at the dealership. Piyush from sales did an amazing job making sure all our questions were answered and we were taken good care during the whole process. Kyle was excellent at compiling all the paperwork and explaining all the terms and conditions very clearly. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly, and I would highly recommend Downtown Chrysler for your next car purchase.

This is a mixed review. I had a very positive experience purchasing a used vehicle at this location and had very positive impressions of the dealership at first. Mike and Piyush in the sales department were great. After the fact, however, I have had an absolutely horrible experience dealing with the service counter at this location. They never answer the phone and I have tried reaching the service manager several times to follow up on my main concern. Minor things also happened here (held my car for 3 days due to delays in mechanic availability, didn’t do the complimentary wash that they had promised, etc). My biggest concern however, is that employees at the service desk lied to me and this was confirmed by another independent garage and an insurance company who had records of calls/interactions with the dealership service counter. The entire experience led me to question whether or not a diagnostic exam was indeed properly done, for which they charged $180 to do. I was thinking about reaching out to the service manager again, but I rather not waste my time chasing someone down for their inability to follow up with customers. It’s a shame a good purchasing experience leads to this kind of outcome. Truly gives the impression they just want your money and care nothing about you as a client after the fact. Don’t bring your vehicle here for service, it’s worth the detour to another location or to find an independent shop that won’t flat out lie to you.

I have used this dealership for services for about 30 years. Last week I had an oil change done - simple eh? The next day I noticed a pool of oil under the car. I took it back in. They claimed that there was a "defective oil filter". Clearly it was installed with either crossed threads , or not tightened. They replaced the oil filter, and after a lot of argument gave me a full refund on the oil change. That's why they get 2 stars. Without the refund - they would get zero. What can you do? Downsview Chrysler is even worse.

For one, don’t bother coming here unless it’s under warranty. I was told the humming from my vehicle was my front light ballast. It would take 3-4 hrs n cost $1300. They don’t replace the ballast, just the whole light fixture. Didn’t let them touch it. My mechanic did it in under an hour, all told, $321.31. As for why I was here. My stereo monitor is delaminating. Brought it here twice to repair, and now I’ll be back for a third time. They got the wrong part n then had a defective one. Don’t bother to check your parts before the customer arrives. They’ll let me know when they get the part in… No we’ll make sure we find one n have it here asap, na. Total incompetence. I’m sure the mechanics are competent though how can I tell? I’m so pissed but held it together. Oh, it says on the service chart complimentary car wash. Didn’t even do that. As another person posted, if I could do 0 stars, I would.

I’ve been a customer here for two years and unfortunately had a very difficult experience with the service department. Bought two cars from them in less than 6 months. My vehicle was in for night‑vision issues, and while in the dealership’s care the windshield cracked. At first I was told it was my fault, but eventually the dealership agreed to replace it. I was assured by the service manager at the time that they would install the same windshield on my car not an inferior one. Despite this assurance, an aftermarket windshield was installed instead. Since then, as a result of that aftermarket windshield, I’ve had repeated AEB/ADAS issues that required multiple visits. During one of those visits, my vehicle was taken off‑site without my knowledge or consent, and I later received a parking ticket in the mail for an area I never drove to. It had been parked at a high school in Markham?? That was how I found out the car had been used off‑site. The dealership paid the ticket, but I was never given a clear explanation of who drove the vehicle or why it was parked illegally. I’ve tried for months to get straightforward answers. I’ve spoken with the dealership, Stellantis customer care, and even OMVIC. Everyone has been polite, but I still don’t have clarity on why an aftermarket windshield was installed against my instructions or why my vehicle was used off‑site without permission. I’m posting this review so management is aware of the situation. I would still like the correct OEM windshield installed and the matter properly resolved.
