⭐☆☆☆☆ — DO NOT BUY HERE. Dishonest salesman, dangerous car. I purchased a 2016 Mercedes G550 last week through a salesman named Ralph at DriveWide in Daytona Beach. I was buying this car as a gift for my wife and was very upfront about that. I specifically asked Ralph about any major concerns oil leaks, mechanical issues anything I should know about, since it is a 10-year-old vehicle. He assured me the car was in perfect condition and ready to drive. Based on his word, I completed the purchase online from Miami, trusting him completely. When the car arrived, I was devastated. Here is what I found: • Major oil leak from the rear main seal left a large oil stain on my entire driveway within just 3 hours of arrival • Cracked windshield • No brakes rotors and pads on all four wheels need immediate replacement • All four shock absorbers are severely rusted and must be replaced the car is unsafe to drive as-is • All four rear headrests are missing This is not a "ready to drive" car. This is a car that should never have been sold without full disclosure of these issues, let alone advertised as a gift-worthy vehicle in perfect condition. To make matters worse, Ralph stopped answering my calls the moment the car was delivered. He vanished completely. That alone tells you everything you need to know. What was supposed to be a special surprise for my wife turned into the worst purchase of my life. I work hard for my money and I trusted the wrong person. I'm sharing this so no one else goes through the same experience. Shop somewhere that values honesty. DriveWide is not that place.
