I rarely write negative reviews but this experience genuinely warrants one, and I want to save other buyers the frustration I went through. I reached out to salesperson Alan through Facebook Marketplace regarding a Corvette C8. The listing explicitly mentioned that test drives could be scheduled, so we agreed on a time and I made the 50 minute drive out to the dealership. From the moment I arrived, things went sideways. First, the dealership refused to provide a Carfax report digitally and instead told me to photograph a printed copy off a piece of paper. That is an unusual and frankly unprofessional way to handle basic due diligence for a buyer. Then Alan informed me that the dealership does not do test drives on Corvettes. Let that sink in. I had driven 50 minutes specifically because the listing said test drives were available, and nobody thought to mention this policy beforehand. When I pushed back, he went to his manager and suddenly an exception was made. That entire exchange should never have happened in the first place. When I handed over my license, they then told me that because I hold a Class 7, they could not allow me to test drive the vehicle regardless. This is information that could have been communicated before I made the trip. For context, I have 10 years of clean driving history with a spotless record. Another dealership I visited afterward asked all of the right questions upfront, communicated their policies clearly, and still accommodated me for a test drive on their lot with my Class 7. The contrast was night and day. To top it all off, after I left the dealership Alan blocked me on Facebook and exited our conversation entirely without a word. That kind of behaviour speaks volumes about the professionalism on display here. No prep, no communication, no accountability. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone seriously looking to purchase a vehicle.
