I took my 2024 GMC in for a standard 24,000km service on Feb 9, 2026, and had a very disappointing experience. Upon pickup, I noticed an additional 15km on the odometer (from 28,336km to 28,351km). This is far beyond any standard "quality control" loop for routine maintenance. I reached out to the General Manager, Jesse Parker, requesting a clear explanation of where my vehicle was driven and for what purpose, but I have received no response. Furthermore, the dealer has soliciting me weekly for a trade-in since I did my first service last August, I agreed to an appraisal during my service this time. The appraisal process was a total mess. Yet when I arrived to pick up my car after they called me, it hadn't even started. I was forced to wait an extra 40 minutes just to get my keys back—nearly double the promised time—only to be given a vague estimated range. After the so-called appraisal, a sales was still trying to push me a vehicle they currently in stock but totally not what I wanted despite I did had extensive communication with a staff about my preference and timeline earlier that day. Between the unexplained mileage and the lack of communication, I am very concerned about how my vehicle was handled at Dueck Richmond.
