Elder Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Bought a 1 ton from them last year. The saleslady was phenomenal. Couldn't ask for a smoother transaction. Took it in for it first oil change and while I was there, had them change the fuel filters. I was on the phone when the lady came out with my air filter and cabin filter. Both in need of replacing, I gave the go ahead. They sprayed something on the cabinet filter and charged like $15, which I didnt agree to, for whatever they sprayed and had a strong chemical smell. So much so that I went back in to ask what they did. It's unethical. Fast forward to its next oil change. I decide to do it myself after what they charged me to change the air filter and fuel filters. I went to check the air filter, none of the screws were fastened. Top of the filter box (turbo side) is sitting there flopping and presumably sucking in unfiltered air. Not good for a turbo, to say the least. I called up there to talk to the service manager and was immediately hit with aggression and low key, looking for others to place the blame on. Its unfortunate.

Best experience at a service center I've ever had. I called in and they had me scheduled the next day. Janie was such a pleasure to work with. Met me with a smile, awesome positive attitude throughout, and the communication was phenomenal. I never was to second guess what was going on with my vehicle. This was my first time at the Elder Service Center, but it will not be my last.

Elder Dodge in Athens are the most kind & helpful people ever. Yesterday I had a flat tire out in front of their dealership & before I could think of what to do next Ashton & her crew were out there helping me. They did not have my tire size however Alex called around town & found one. Aden drove me across town to purchase the tire & brought me back & put it on for me. All this was happening at closing time. Elder Dodge would not let me pay them. Hayden said that’s what we do is help people. God Bless all of Elder Dodges team members Thank you for your kindness

We got there early this morning (a Saturday) to have my husband's key fob programmed to his truck, we were in and out in no time! Taylor was amazing, so nice and helpful! They would have gotten five stars but I couldn't work the coffee pot lol it was way too complicated! Lol

I have been a loyal customer of Elder Dodge in Athens, Texas for many years. I have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership, as well as tires and regular maintenance services. My experiences with Jamie, Alex, and Samantha have always been positive, and I appreciate their professionalism. However, I recently encountered a situation with management that was both surprising and disappointing. After a routine oil change, I was never notified of any issue with the payment. Two weeks later, I received a call stating that my card had not gone through. In all my years as a customer — and with many larger transactions — I have never had a payment problem or failed to follow through. When I explained that I work out of town and would take care of the payment as soon as I returned, the response from management, particularly from Carol and later the owner, was unexpectedly discourteous. Instead of considering my long, reliable history with the dealership, I was met with a tone that felt dismissive and unnecessarily harsh. It is unfortunate that a simple misunderstanding escalated in this way. I have always valued good customer service, and I believe respectful communication is essential — especially with long-term customers. Regrettably, this experience has caused me to reconsider doing business with this dealership moving forward.
