I found a remarkable 1983 Mercedes Benz 300TDT on an MB auction web site. The posting was by Enthusiast Motorcar Group and while I was the high bidder it didn't meet the reserve. As is often the case the highest bidder is offered a chance to work a deal and was happy to do so. The guys at EMG worked out a purchase that we were all satisfied with and the deal was done. I worked mostly with Jay and he made the purchase a seamless one. I was concerned the transporter time frame could be a problem but it wasn't. Jay and his partners are professionals and are used to time schedules for carriers to pick up cars.
