# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with some praising its comfortable waiting area and efficient staff while others report significant concerns about service department upselling, financing practices that allegedly obscured additional charges, and sales tactics involving misrepresentation of vehicle conditions. Multiple customers describe feeling pressured, deceived, or treated rudely during both sales and service interactions, leading them to question the dealership's customer-focused values.
Very nice waiting area with complementary nice coffee and drinks. Staffs are well trained and the service is fast. All customers are nice and quite except one guy who thought he's in his own home. He spoke mainland Chinese Mandarin over the phone loudly while everyone was nice enough not to confront or stop him
I am extremely disappointed with the service department at Envision Toyota in Milpitas, specifically my experience with Harvey Flores as my service advisor. I brought my vehicle in for what should have been a straightforward check engine light diagnosis. Instead, I was presented with a long list of recommended services and repairs that quickly turned a simple visit into a massive estimated bill. The experience felt more like a sales pitch than a service appointment. What frustrated me most was the amount of pressure placed on me to approve additional maintenance and repairs. When I declined some of the recommendations, I was left feeling as though I was being blamed for any future issues with my vehicle. It came across as a money-first approach rather than a customer-focused one. Vehicle owners should understand that service advisors are not mechanics, yet they are often the ones presenting costly recommendations. I strongly encourage customers to seek a second opinion from a trusted independent mechanic or Toyota specialist before approving expensive repairs or maintenance. In my experience, every visit seems to generate a new list of services that are supposedly urgent or necessary. While some recommendations may be legitimate, the constant upselling makes it difficult to know what is truly needed and what is simply being sold. I left feeling pressured, frustrated, and with less trust in the dealership service process. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
SHADY Adding thousands of dollars of fees (beyond what was agreed) without telling you. My wife and I went to Envision Toyota Milpitas looking for a Toyota Sienna. Their pricing was already far above other dealerships ($5k–$10k higher), but they had the exact trim and color we wanted, so we gave them a chance. After a long negotiation, we agreed on an out-the-door price, down payment, and financed amount. We signed the out the door price and moved to finance — and that’s where things became shady. The finance office used large digital signing table-top tablets and rushed through documents while physically covering parts of the screen with folders and paperwork. When the finance contract came up, I noticed the financed amount was suddenly $68.5k instead of the agreed $64k. They had quietly added roughly $4,500 to the total amount financed and tried to hide the number on the tabletop screen with physical paper as well as placing the signature pop-up over the number so we couldn't see it, despite having an out the door price signed. The only reason we caught it was because I closed the signature pop-up that was conveniently placed over the finance numbers and carefully reviewed the contract myself. There was no apology when I called them out. Once caught, I then watched them remove paperwork and cost related to a Zurich package they previously claimed had already been removed as part of the agreed price, which is $1495. Do NOT let this dealership rush you through finance paperwork. Take your time going through every document before signing anything. Review every number yourself and get everything in writing with your own copy of your agreed upon out the door price. If I hadn’t caught this, they would have made an extra $4,500 plus interest off us. Avoid this dealership.
Envision Toyota is such a bad employee place! My friend and I went to Milpitas to buy a car. There, we met an Indian man whose name I think was William Singh. Initially, he spoke to us very politely, and we agreed on a deal for a brand new Toyota Camry with zero miles. He said we would get the car the next day. When my friend and I went back the next day, he tried to give us a used car. When I told him that we had agreed on a new car, he spoke to us very rudely. I would never recommend anyone I know to buy a car from the Milpitas Toyota dealership. And that man also ruined my friend's credit score.
On February 23, 2026, at Evision Toyota Milpitas, I bought a 2021 Rav4 with 94,100 miles. The salesperson told me it was an excellent vehicle, in perfect condition, and that the payments would be low. I drove it and heard a noise, but I didn't know what it was, so I asked my son to check it out. He told me that the car wouldn't last me more than five years and the engine wouldn't last long because of the mileage. Besides that, I noticed a very strong smell, like cigarettes, but I thought it was because the car was used. Then I ended up in the emergency room with my grandson, and they confirmed that he had been exposed to a lot of cigarette smoke, and he's allergic. I called the saleswoman, Bianca, and we went to the Toyota dealership to get a solution, but they were very rude. They told me they had notified me about the car's mileage, but they never mentioned the engine problems. Regarding the cigarette smell, they said they would have the car washed, but I didn't want it anymore because it wouldn't be useful to me. They said they couldn't do it and offered me a discount, but it wasn't worth it. In the end, they accepted the car back, but they didn't return my deposit ($2,000). So I don't recommend this place. I understand their job is to sell, but it's not right to deceive us and try to sell us something that doesn't work and is overpriced. I've been a customer since 2013, but this time they were very rude.
