We met Caleb in the parking lot and through the whole buying journey he was as laid back as you could want. He was NOT forcing a sale on me. He went out of his way to bring other cars from their sister lot for me to see. He was patient and kind but most of all - the thing you don't expect from a Salesman- he is genuine!! Basically had deal wrapped up before I arrived at the dealership and was warmly greeted by my salesperson, Jacob Grubb, he had the vehicle cleaned and ready to show me. The dealership also placed it on a service lift for me so that I could look underneath the vehicle, it was a midwest vehicle! He was also very professional and answered all my questions. My wife and I had been looking for a used truck and knew exactly what we wanted. We live in Indiana and found the perfect truck online at Everett Chevrolet, in Hickory North Carolina. We talked to Caleb at the dealership, who was great from the start. We felt very comfortable buying the truck, so we booked flights and took a day off work. We landed in Charlotte and someone from the dealership met us at the airport right on time! We got to the dealership and the truck was ready and waiting for us and looked better than the pictures. Caleb was amazing, fun and made us feel like family immediately! The truck had a few minor issues, but Caleb made everything OK and we felt great about driving it back home. Right before we were ready to pay for the truck, they found out it had a coolant leak and needed a radiator. The sales manager talked to us, and told us he couldn’t sell us the truck because it had an issue that they just found out about. He was amazing to deal with as well, and let us know that if we didn’t find another truck to buy, that they would pay for our return flights home. We found another truck that was almost perfect, but in the end, we decided to just fly back home, so Caleb took us to our hotel and we got flights out the next day. They refunded us our deposit and gave us the money for our return flights. They may not know it yet, but they made us a customer for life! I was a service manager at a new car dealership for 20 years, and I can tell you how rare that is to be taken care of like that! Everett Chevrolet is a real class act!
