Con Artists.Do NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! They do no not let you try the cars and once you leave with it they malfunction. Cars are not in the condition they state . They are liars. They tell you a lower price than they’ll actually charge you and when the paperwork arrives it’s a fortune they overcharge you for it. When you call them back to file a claim they don’t pick up and when they do they give you the runaround. Thieves!! Save yourself a headache . Give your car a good inspection and test drive it before signing so you don't get fooled like I was.🥵

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER 1 1/2 YEARS: I originally left a positive review after purchasing my first car from Fairfax Motors, but I feel it’s important to share what happened after owning the car for a bit longer. About six months after buying the vehicle, it began having serious mechanical issues. The tires were in terrible condition from the start and had to be replaced and I knew that, but still bought the car anyway. The rims had been painted over to appear new, but that paint peeled off and revealed rusted, damaged rims underneath. Eventually, the alternator failed while I was driving in a 4 lane road, and luckily it happened while I was in a turning lane or else it could have turned into a bad accident. It didn’t stop there. I’ve since had to replace all four tires, the axles, and now I’m facing a major expense because the muffler literally rusted off and fell in the middle of the road. My exhaust system is so corroded I haven’t been able to drive the car in over four months. The upcoming repairs will cost another $2,000+, on top of the $3,000+ I’ve already spent. To add to the frustration, the car was listed for $6,000 on Facebook Marketplace, but once I was in the room with them, I was told they wouldn’t take anything less than $10,000. As a first-time buyer, young and excited, I ended up paying $9,800. With all the money I’ve now put into this car, I could’ve easily put a solid down payment on a new, reliable vehicle. The sales rep I worked with, Mike Kim, was kind and professional, and I appreciated the initial customer service. But unfortunately, the condition of the car and how it was presented didn’t match the reality. I wish I had brought a mechanic with me or had the car taken to a shop before making the purchase — and I highly recommend anyone considering buying from here does exactly that. I’m sharing this so others can make a more informed decision than I did. I hope Fairfax Motors takes this feedback seriously and improves their inspection and transparency processes. In the meantime, buyers should beware and shop wisely. Last piece of advice: Use your money elsewhere, but if you’re trying to avoid interest and buy in full cash like me, bring a mechanic and take the car to a shop. If Fairfax motors doesn’t allow it, don’t buy from them, simple. Trust me. old review: I had a great experience buying from fairfax motors. I’ve had one car in mind for months and after looking online for weeks, I finally found it on their page. I called a few days prior to book an appointment to come test drive and possibly buy the car and it was extremely easy and stress free!! I ended up finally getting the car I wanted and in good condition for a very fair price. The only thing I could possibly criticize is the fact that the screws used to put on my license plates looked old and rusted (which isn’t a big problem at all, I had a few new screws at home and replaced them myself). But other than that insignificant problem, my experience was overall great. Mike Kim helped me out a ton with buying the car and would repeatedly ask me if I had any questions or concerns and was genuinely interested in making sure I had the best experience possible. He even gave me a few replacement parts that I asked for at no additional cost. If you’re looking to buy a good reliable used car, I’d recommend giving fairfax motors a shot.

I had a wonderful first time car buying experience at Fairfax Motors. Pauline, my salesperson was absolutely fabulous. During my test drive with my vehicle, she gave me a lot of great tips and information about the car. The buying process was incredibly personal and her hospitality and kindness made me feel at ease with everything. I would definitely recommend buying a car from this dealership and specifically Pauline! She made my first car purchase an excellent one! :)
