Fallbrook Motors

My wife has an 04 Tundra that her father gave her. He had it serviced at Fallbrook Motors so my wife continued to take it there for service. However, I began to realize that Tim is not the mechanic he claims to be. First, when I asked him to adjust the driver door because it didn't close the same as the others, he condescendingly told me I was closing the seatbelt in the door. Then the truck was brought in for a check engine light, he changed the evap canister and 2 days later the CEL came on again. Apparently he didn't secure the hose. He rebuilt the front suspension and a year later when getting new tires, another shop said there was a problem with the front end. Tim blamed it on the parts and charged to replace them. Then we had him do a full inspection because we were going on a 1400 mile business trip. He replaced the u joints in the driveshaft. 50 miles down the road at 4:30 on a Sunday morning the truck began shaking. The u joints were improperly installed. Needless to say, this cost a lot of money, hassle, and almost our lives. When presented with a bill for a portion of the damages, his response was to offer to reimburse only his labor cost to replace the driveshaft. And today the lower ball joint started to squeak. When I went to lube it I noticed there was a plug where the grease fitting should be and the other ball joint had an open hole instead. Tim is a used car salesman masquerading as a mechanic.

Tim and Rosie at Fallbrook Motors are absolutely the best. I’ve purchased two vehicles from them and plan to buy a third very soon. Their cars are always low-mileage, in excellent condition, and clearly well cared for with plenty of life left in them. Tim also does an incredible job on the service side—fair pricing, quick turnaround, and never pushy. He’s always willing to offer honest advice on how to best maintain your vehicle if you ask. I couldn’t recommend Fallbrook Motors more highly.

I completely trust Fallbrook Motors to take care of my 2013 Toyota Corolla. Tim and Rosie tell me exactly what my car needs and what it does not need. They do the work quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend them.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this shop!! I was having issues with my Jeep and they truly went above and beyond for me. Not only did they fix the issue, but Tim took the time to talk directly with my warranty company AND my bank to help handle everything and advocate for me. He really went to bat for me and made sure I wasn’t getting taken advantage of, which meant more than I can explain! It’s rare to find someone who cares that much! I felt completely supported and in the loop the entire time. If you’re looking for an honest, trustworthy mechanic this is the place!! I’m so grateful and will never go anywhere else.!💖
