# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews reflecting inconsistent service quality, with some customers praising fair pricing and smooth transactions while others report significant issues including missed safety concerns during inspections, communication failures regarding vehicle repairs and availability, and lack of transparency about vehicle conditions. Positive experiences highlight efficient online negotiations and courteous staff, whereas negative experiences center on poor service department communication, neglected vehicles, and discrepancies between promised and actual vehicle readiness.
Had our car looked at as a first time customer, and almost 3 hours later they said it was good to go but recommended a passenger front axle repaired in a few months/before next inspection. Less than two weeks later the driver front wheel bearing completely fell apart mid drive. I have no idea how they missed something so dangerous.
I am very happy with my experience at Faulkner. I live around 90 minutes away. I sent pictures of my trade before driving down amd they gave me a dollar amount, stuck to it and left with a new truck. Easy to deal with and fair pricing.
I haven’t been in a dealership in over 10 years. Saw a vehicle I liked online, the entire negotiation was done through text. Very happy with the price for the new vehicle and trade value. Showed up, did the paperwork, and walked out a happy customer. All of the negative perception you may have from car dealerships DO NOT EXIST at Faulkner. I could not have been treated any better and would recommend to everyone to purchase your next vehicle here. John took excellent care of me, despite being a cowboys fan.
A fantastic dealer experience- at Turner Chevy! A tale of 2 Dealers: It began with AAA towing my vehicle to Faulkner for a scheduled engine repair. After hearing nothing from the service desk for 12 days - I called them and they said that they never received my car!! So we literally had AAA send us pictures of the car being delivered and where it was parked. We drove in to Faulkner and found it right there on their lot in the locked cage, front row- neglected for 12 days! I complained to management and received no apologies whatsoever!! Complete Wasted time - unprofessional Faulkner. Then we took it a mile away to Turner Chevy and they came through and changed my opinion of dealing with dealers Repairs entirely! From the estimate experience, to the loaner vehicle, to the speed of the repairs, l've never been more impressed! Alyssa was awesome with her communications as well! Turner just restored my faith in Dealership Repairs! Turner - TO BE SURE!
I want to share my recent experience so others know what to expect. I recently inquired about a used vehicle early November at this dealership and was initially told that it was available to view, test-drive, and even place a deposit on. I was also told the only reason it wasn’t ready to purchase was because it was going in for a simple recall, and that it would be fixed and ready by November 10th. Though it still needed to go in for a recall-related service, I was assured that the vehicle would be fully serviced and ready by November 10th for something having to do with the trim as I was told. Based on that information, I drove two hours to the dealership on November 20th with the expectation that the vehicle would be repaired and available. Upon arrival, I was informed that the vehicle was not only unavailable, but was actually at a different shop undergoing additional repairs—repairs that were never communicated to me beforehand. I was also told the issue was not just the minor recall originally mentioned, but multiple other items that were never disclosed during our discussions. To my surprise it was being worked on for multiple issues that were never disclosed. The story I was given over the phone did not match the reality. The vehicle was not available, was not ready, and was not being repaired for just a recall as I had been led to believe. My concern is the lack of transparency and communication. Accurate information is essential when a customer is investing time, travel, and trust, and unfortunately that did not happen here. If details about a vehicle’s condition or availability aren’t communicated clearly, it raises questions about what else might be overlooked or misrepresented. Again, If a dealership can’t be honest about something as basic as a vehicle’s condition or availability, it raises serious concerns about what else they may not be upfront about. Customers deserve accurate information, especially when they are traveling long distances and making decisions based on what they’re told. I hope this feedback encourages the dealership to improve the honesty and clarity of their communication so future customers do not experience the same frustrations. I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.
