James makes the entire car-buying process incredibly seamless. On the financial side, Derek and Shanna (Finance Managers) are absolutely amazing, warm humans. They go to bat for you with the banks, working tirelessly to secure the absolute lowest interest rates and ensuring you walk out the door with the best deal possible. ​Tyler Doherty (Sales Manager) is a massive part of the team that makes the whole experience absolutely easy and stress-free. When it’s time to finally get the keys, Derrick (Delivery Coordinator) is stellar at his job. He is super knowledgeable, highly helpful, and takes the time to show you every possible detail about your new vehicle that you might not have known. ​The excellence doesn't stop after you buy the car. In the service department, Carl Cress (Service Manager) expertly navigates any issues to make sure your vehicle is up and running perfectly without a hitch. Grace, Melissa, and Patrick in Service are absolutely amazing humans to deal with, and Andrea (Appointment Coordinator) at the front desk always makes sure you are taken care of right from the start. ​I also have to give a shoutout to Tudor in sales, who is just a genuinely friendly human being. Every single person I interact with here knows me by name, and even the staff I haven't had the chance to work with directly yet always greet you with a warm, friendly smile. 5th Avenue VW has been outstanding across all my dealings with them in the last eight months. I first purchased a used GTI from them, and that process was seamless and without issue. The few times I dealt with their service and parts team was also great. I did have one mishap, however it was resolved quickly and equitably. Regrettably my GTI was deemed a total loss after a recent accident so I sought them out again, this time to source a new 2026 GTI. Mac Merhi went well above my expectations in helping me find what I was looking for, he was truly exceptional to deal with and an all round great guy. I also have nothing but good things to say about Grace as my service rep, Derrick in delivery and set up and Shanna in financing. A very solid team to deal with and absolutely made what was a stressful experience (losing my car to an accident, dealing with insurance and the scramble to find a new car) much less so. Aces!

We were looking for an Atlas and stumbled on Fifth Ave through a friend. We actually drove from Edmonton to Calgary to make the purchase after a few phone calls and video call walkthrough of the car. We had done our research and knew exactly what we wanted and what the market would be. These guys were AWESOME. They didn't try to sell us stuff we told them we didn't want. They did make sure we understood some of the trade offs we asked for and they were completely transparent about the features the first Gen Atlas didn't have versus the new generation and ever other comparable cars.. The transparency was honestly refreshing. The negotiation was straight forward, they didn't hide anything in the financing, or over complicate the process. We ended up right on budget, with almost the exact buy out value we were looking for. We've had the Atlas for about 2 months now, (2018 Execline) and its been everything we expected and were promised. I'll be back to Fifth Ave in the future after we are done fully enjoying this Atlas. I've had a number of interactions with Fifth Ave VW at this stage. I bought my Golf R through Lee who went above and beyond normal expectations to track down a very specific car/trim for me even though I was effectively a new customer with no history, and I had a very pleasant interaction with Derek from the financing side. Their service department (special mention to Grace and Patrick) however has also been genuinely outstanding so far. I didn't expect the service to be as good as Lee has been to me simply because I felt the bar was too high, but I've had the pleasure to interact with Patrick and Grace who were both great in treating me and getting my concerns resolved. The service was not only timely and suited to my needs, but also very transparent from start to end. I felt treated like a first class customer each time and I intend to repeat my business here in the future.
