# Summary The dealership receives polarized feedback, with some customers praising affordable pricing, flexible financing options, and smooth transactions, while others report serious concerns about undisclosed mechanical defects, inadequate pre-sale inspections, dismissive customer service, and aggressive collection practices. These contrasting experiences suggest significant inconsistency in vehicle quality, transparency, and customer treatment.
I purchased a Nissan Altima from this dealership in good faith, believing I was buying a reliable vehicle. Within one hour of driving off the lot, the vehicle began overheating. I immediately contacted the owner to inform him of the issue. He advised me that the car had a “small leak” and told me to simply add water to the radiator. I followed his instructions; however, the overheating continued. I then purchased radiator stop-leak from Walmart, which only temporarily resolved the issue for approximately 30 minutes. I contacted the owner again, and he instructed me to drive the vehicle approximately 20 miles to Westwego so his mechanic could inspect it. Due to the overheating, what would normally be a 25-minute drive took me nearly two hours to complete. When I arrived, the owner became verbally aggressive toward the body shop employee and later directed me to follow him to another shop he owned. After running tests, I was told the issue was merely an “air bubble” in the radiator and that the vehicle was fine. However, once I returned home, the car continued to overheat. I later had the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic, who determined that the water pump was faulty and leaking, which caused the radiator to have little to no fluid. This was the true cause of the overheating. I paid out-of-pocket to replace the water pump. Additionally, the serpentine belt failed shortly thereafter, requiring a tow that cost $300. Throughout this time, I continued making my monthly payments and maintaining full insurance coverage, despite incurring repair costs for issues that were not disclosed at the time of sale. Regarding payment history, I consistently made my payments in person on or before the due date. According to my contract, there was a brief grace period, and any late payment would result in a $300–$500 late fee, plus towing fees if repossession occurred. Two months after purchase, my payment was due on a Wednesday. The following Thursday morning, after completing a 15-hour overnight shift, I received a phone call from the owner demanding payment in an aggressive and profane manner. I calmly explained that my direct deposit was pending and would be available that same day, and that I would bring the payment immediately once it posted. I also expressed my willingness to pay any applicable late fees if necessary. Despite this, he continued using profanity and threatened to repossess the vehicle immediately. I remained calm and stated that if he intended to retrieve the vehicle, it would be available. His tone then shifted, and he stated he “should have never sold” the vehicle to me. Based on my experience and subsequent review of other customer complaints, it appears this may be a pattern of selling vehicles with known mechanical issues, collecting payments, and aggressively pursuing repossession opportunities. I entered this transaction in good faith, seeking reliable transportation for work. Instead, I incurred significant repair expenses for undisclosed defects while being subjected to unprofessional and hostile treatment.
After looking for a car for my teenage son for a while, I found the right one at Finish Line Auto! Great price and right timing for me! Also offered me financing however Ronnie gave me a Great cash price.
I bought a car from here, my husband bought a car from here, my brother bought a car from here, and my father-in-law bought a car from here. We all are happy with our purchases and we will all continue to recommend Finish Line Auto for used car sales, especially if you need in-house financing regardless of your credit score, they make it super easy.
They are super rude !! I test drove a ford focus not too long ago. The lights inside the car would not go off, the radio goes in and out, rattling noise from the timing belt, and the open door symbol is consistently on the dash. When I told them about the problem the man response was "I just drove this car yesterday" .. like what that's supposed to mean dummy? The problems are still there .. they give you 4 miles of test driving which isn't enough to see the problems . I drove approximately 7 miles from the place to let my neighborhood mechanic check it out and it was a problem. Be mindful!
Got my step daughter a car from here. Only $2000 down no credit check was a nice 2017 Nissan altima. Process was fast. Easy. No issues. If you pay off car in 6 months the owner takes off 100% interest. I know of no dealership that does that. The owner save me over $3000 in interest. I will always get my family cars from him.
