# Summary The dealership receives praise from most customers for knowledgeable salespeople, efficient service, and smooth purchasing experiences, with particular recognition for staff going above and beyond to explain vehicle features and secure favorable rates. However, two customers reported significant problems including poor warranty claim handling, unresponsive service departments, safety concerns with vehicle repairs, and unprofessional staff conduct that undermined their overall experience.
Flood Ford of Narragansett is a pleasurable experience for buying a car. I went in looking for a special edition fully loaded Bronco Heritage in baby blue. Within 24 hours my salesman John called to tell me they found one. I test drove it and purchased all within 5 days! I can’t say enough about how accommodating they were. Blake made the paperwork a breeze and John took plenty of time to explain the bells & whistles of the car to me so I could feel comfortable driving off the lot. I highly recommend Flood Ford. They made buying a car a great experience for me. Kudos to them!
You guys did a great job. Giani, who was the sales person we met understood what I was looking for and found a great truck. He took the extra time to show me how all the electronics worked and got my phone set up for it. Very professional and likeable person. The financial part of it also went smoothly and I believe they got me the best rates. Great dealership
I recently purchased a cargo van for my business from Chris, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Chris is knowledgeable, honest, and extremely professional. He took the time to explain every detail, answered all my questions, and made sure I got exactly the vehicle I needed for work. The process was smooth, quick, and stress-free. I truly appreciate his customer service and attention to detail. Highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a reliable commercial vehicle. Great experience!
Absolutely the worst service experience in my life. On Friday I had a simple flat tire, on a brand new 2026 Bronco I had just bought. They claimed I had no warranty. I did, a plan purchased from another Ford dealership in MA. I had to sort that out, as they would not help. I was on vacation and said I would be fine as long as I could get it Monday. So three days later I called to see if fixed as I left it there and was running on a spare since Friday with no word from them. Two hours to closing they tell me they just got it, and that vehicle had to be at shop for them to start work. Never heard this before, no warning about being late or requirement for vehicle to be there. So, I get there after leaving my family on the beach and they then told me an hour wait for service. Manager was no help in getting me out fast, and was even belligerent. When I complained about the service, he refused to fix tire and told me to leave. Not how you treat a new Ford purchaser.
My family has purchased multiple vehicles from Flood Auto Group, but this most recent experience was by far the worst. I purchased a 2019 Ford Escape, and within two days discovered that a rear seatbelt was not properly attached to the base of the vehicle. I have children who had already been buckled in that back seat, so this was a serious safety issue, not a minor inconvenience. When I contacted the service department, Peter Cicerelli was rude, condescending, and dismissive. A few weeks later, another most recent repair I was told would be around $300 ended up costing $500. Shortly after leaving, my wife had to pull over on Route 1 because the skid plate was coming apart, and we later found bolts were missing. I was told, “We didn’t do it,” despite the fact that the area serviced often requires access near or around the skid plate. After all of this, while Peter Cicerelli was stuffing his face talking with his mouth full of his lunch I was told it would take weeks to “even begin the process to receive a refund for the damage.” The entire experience, from sales to service, has been unacceptable and unprofessional. I am getting rid of the vehicle at a loss just to be done with it. My family will never do business with Flood Motor Group again. There are plenty of better places in Rhode Island to buy and service a vehicle. FORGET FLOOD MOTOR GROUP Will absolutely be putting a better business bureau complaint in.
