Multiple reviewers report consistent negative interactions with service advisors and express concerns about being overcharged for work on vehicles in good condition.
I can only talk in regards to the service side of this dealership. I have been here for almost an hour. Another gentleman had an appointment and is still waiting for his vehicle after 2 and a half hours for an oil change. One of the ladies has a family member up at her desk talking away to him. We all get updates when one of the 3 of use stand up. I asked them to make sure they do a 5 tire rotation and the service manager said that since it doesn't get use that it would throw off my ride. Fun since they did the last tire rotation on this same vehicle. She again asked me if I had a certain tire that I wanted to rotate with it. I told her that it needed to be in rotation as Ford shows. Asked if she wanted me to pull it up, no answer. I said last time I wouldn't be back, had several recalls was going to leave it here. But the service manager said it should take about 30 minutes. Im just getting " The Works" and the couple of recalls they can do. So I believe next time I will just have to go on down the road to a service department that was a better attitude, since both of these ladies and short with customers and only care about the family that is visiting them at work. I honestly sad that this service department is ran the way it is. If it was just one day or one person I get it. But its like this each time I've been here and every time some else expresses the same issues. Mr. Trotter look into the service that you customers are not getting from the service department agents.
Just picked up my new vehicle at Trotter Toyota. Great buying experience at this dealer. Derrick Lindsay and Kris Patterson were awesome to deal with! Thanks...
NEVER, you hear, NEVER use this service. HERE THEY DECEIVE PEOPLE AND DELIBERATELY MAKE BREAKDOWNS IN THE CAR TO GET MORE MONEY FROM YOU! I apologize in advance for the fact that the review will be too long, but I recommend that you read it to the end, so as not to be deceived by these people in the future. I came to this service center to change the oil in the engine and the air filter on my 2024 Ford, as well as to seal the hole in the wheel and put the spare tire in its place (in my car - under the bottom of the car). While I was waiting for the work to be done, the worker who writes the final bill and accepts the money began to approach the elderly women and tell them that their cars are in very poor condition and that in addition to changing the oil in the engine, they need to do a lot of other work or the car simply will not be able to drive. Within 2 hours, this situation was repeated with 5-6 women. I was surprised by the fact that absolutely all the women who came to their service, the cars, according to the service workers, are in terrible condition and they need expensive repairs and replacement of various spare parts. This fact surprised me very much, but then I realized what was happening. Two hours later, the same service worker came up to me and said that a lot of work needed to be done in my car and various parts had to be replaced, for a total of ALMOST $2000!! Once again, my car is only 1.5 years old, I bought it new in February 2024. At the same time, the price of spare parts and work was simply written on a piece of paper by hand, that is, it was not an official calculation of the cost of repairs. I began to study this "price list" and found that it included items that had already been done in my car in advance, for example: the need to check and clean the brake system, which I had already done six months before, or the maintenance of the rear differential, which was done a month before! before coming to their service, and this information is definitely in their computer! On the taillight, I have a small crack in the glass, which does not affect the operation of the headlight in any way. So, at the service, they directly insisted that the headlight must be urgently replaced (although it works) and pay $ 324 for this!! I realized that they just want to get money from me for fixing non-existent breakdowns! I immediately asked for the car to be returned to me so that I could leave this terrible service as soon as possible. To which I was told that now they would put a spare tire in its place and I could go. I was handed an invoice stating that I had to pay $20 for some obscure parts and materials that I hadn't ordered. They said that these were materials that were needed to fix the hole in the wheel and related work, although the same check stated that I had to pay $30 to fix the wheel! (in Walmart it costs 15 bucks, in other services about 20). I argued with them for a long time, but, unfortunately, I could not prove anything, since the work had already been done. In addition, the employees of this service broke my spare tire lifting mechanism, and said that it had been broken before, they told me to "provide evidence that it was in working order". I was just shocked! Dear Sirs, do not repeat my mistakes, NEVER CONTACT THIS SERVICE EVEN JUST TO CHANGE THE OIL!! You will be deceived, your car will be broken!!
I don't know how they did it, but these guys are good. They had my completely unbiased review removed. These guys are excellent at having negative reviews removed. Read below and look at the pictures and you'll see that my review is obviously not fake. You guys can keep removing my review but I will keep posting it up for eternity. Ran into this employee at McDonald's. A very young woman popped out, obviously not handicap. She literally parked across both handicap spots. I said, "Excuse me ma'am you're in the handicap spot." She had some very ... unpleasant things to say, to say the least. You're in the handicap spot. Just move. I called Trotter Ford to complain, but they did not seem to care. The guy on the phone wouldn't even tell me his name.
Salesperson, A. J. and his Manager, Clay did their best to work an upside down deal with the Santander Sales Event preapproved voucher/coupon we received in the mail, but no deal could be made. Buying a vehicle in ARKANSAS has been problematic, and disappointing. I seldom write negative reviews but car sales should not be difficult. A.J. was excellent and extremely knowledgeable about his profession. Kind gentleman, I would DEFINITELY recommend his expertise. Earlese LaFrance
