Shady business. Asked for Carfax and the owner Dana sent one that is 2.5 years old. Asked for a recent one and he flipped out saying I’m not trusting him. He expects people to hand over cash to buy his cars not asking any questions. Buyers beware.

I would really recommend NOT buying cars from Dana From Ford auto gallery. Once you get into one of his vehicles, he turns into an ungodly Snake oil salesman. My friend called him probably about 100 times regarding issues with a vehicle that I had bought from him and he ignored every single call until I called one of his colleagues that got me connected with him. Don’t trust this used car salesman, I’d recommend literally anywhere else than this place. (One star) P.s. “You chose to deal with the NVSA” ~Dana

We've had Gary at Forward as our mechanic since the 80s. Since then he has worked on all of our cars, mostly German but not all. He identifies issues quickly, even obscure ones. The quality of his work is very good and his prices are always fair. We've recommended Gary to our friends and never once had bad feedback. Gary is a straight up good guy who we trust.

I bought a car from Dana at Forward Auto Gallery, and what started as a good buying experience quickly turned into a nightmare. On my way to the ferry, I noticed an issue with the cluster. I did not see an issue with the cluster when I was test-driving the car. Dana said he also didn't know there was an issue with the instrument cluster and assured me it would be addressed the following week. He instructed me to book an appointment with Royal Oak Audi for a diagnosis and mentioned that Erik would be my point of contact. After the car was diagnosed, it was recommended that a new cluster be installed, which is $7,000.00+. Dana assured me that he and Erik Kocoj would work with Audi Canada to resolve the issue. However, after my initial follow-up with Dana, I was told that Erik was still waiting to hear back from a service representative. Despite leaving multiple messages for both Dana and Erik, I received no follow-up or updates on the situation. The initial excitement of purchasing the vehicle was completely overshadowed by their poor communication and lack of follow-through. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience. Looking back, I suspect that Dana was aware of the cluster issue and was trying to conceal it until the papers were signed. He insisted on driving to the necessary destinations to finish up paperwork, which I presumed it would make things go faster since he knew the roads. I purchased the car on June 1, 2024, and in hindsight, I most likely wouldn’t have. I would strongly caution or even advise buying from Forward Auto Gallery, regardless of how good the prices may seem. The customer service and transparency are severely lacking. On his website it states, "Our 90-180 day warranty proves our commitment to your satisfaction." Financing will be done through another dealership if you go that route, be careful. *** Turns out that Erik has never heard of Dana or his dealership and has never worked with him before. ***

Gary is the best mechanic in Victoria I know. He will never overcharge you and do exactly what you will ask. I've tried twice to go to official dealers (my bad) workshops but both times spent 2-3 times higher amount of $ more for simple jobs. Any newcomer in our area will ask about good car mechanic - I will send to this place only. Also he is great in troubleshooting - just drive around the block with him and he will tell you exactly what kind of troubles you have.
