Garvey Hyundai North

I recently purchased my 3rd vehicle from Garvey Hyundai North, and once again they exceeded my expectations. Brad Bernard made the entire experience simple, easy, and completely stress free from beginning to end. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered without ever making me feel pressured. It's not always easy finding a dealership you can trust, which is why I continue coming back. I'm very happy with my new (to me) Kona and would absolutely recommend both the dealership and Brad to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience!

I'm posting this because of what happened to my family, and I was there to see how everything unfolded. She was told over the phone that the dealership could do $26,000 all-in, including taxes, title, registration, and fees. She also gave them the interest rate, loan term, and monthly payment she needed, and they confirmed those numbers would work before she made the trip to the dealership. Once we got there and she test drove the vehicle, the numbers suddenly changed. Instead of honoring what had been agreed to, the sales manager blamed the salesperson for a "misunderstanding." In the finance office, Kristie said she wanted GAP insurance but did not want a warranty. She was told they weren't going to do anything to lower her payment or get her GAP unless she bought the warranty. They also extended the loan by another 12 months to make the monthly payment appear closer to what she wanted, which added another year of interest. When everything was added up, the deal ended up costing $7,124.12 more than what she had originally been told. Afterward, she tried repeatedly to get someone in management to address what happened. It wasn't until she posted a Yelp review that the General Manager called. He asked her to remove the review "in good faith" while he worked on a resolution, saying that "even a dollar difference is unacceptable." She kept her word and removed it for a week. That week came and went, and no one followed up. I'm sharing this because I watched it happen. Based on what I saw, I would think very carefully before doing business with this dealership.

I recently purchased my first brand new car with the help of sales representative Logan Brooks. He was so kind and patient and helped me find the exact car to fit my payment needs and what I was looking for. The facility was beautiful and the sales manager treated me with great respect through the process as well. I will absolutely be a returning customer and would recommend Logan as a sales representative to anyone looking for a vehicle as well as Garvey themselves.

Purchasing a car was not on my bingo card for 2026. I didn't even want a new one. However, life loves surprises. Knight Dean showed me the perfect vehicle for my life style, he was extremely knowledgeable, and was just a complete pleasure to work with. I was happy leaving, I wasn't when I arrived and that is all due to the service Knight Dean provided. 10/10 service. Im very appreciative of his patience, knowledge, and customer service.
