Gates Chevrolet South Bend

My daughter and son-in-law purchased their Suburban from Gates working with Sam. They were so happy and thrilled with the experience that I decided to go down a couple days later and purchased a 2025 Mitsubishi outlander for my daughter. Sam was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Derek in finance was such a big help. Highly recommend and look forward to going back in a couple of years for a vehicle for myself.

We had a wonderful experience with Sam at Gates Chevy in South Bend. He not only helped us find our perfect family vehicle he helped my mother-in-law with a quick and easy purchase for her. We are so happy with our choice to go Gates and will continue to recommend Sam and Adrien (a new sales representative and 100% an amazing addition to the gates team) Thanks guys!

10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I bought a car, within a year, had it serviced for multiple oil leaks and by a year and a half, they couldn’t figure out what was wrong and can’t fix the car so they sale me another car that’s 300 dollars more a month because i still owe on the other car that they can’t fix so they tack that on as negative equity… fast forward 9 MONTHS, My new car is now broken down with multiple recalls and problems with the hybrid system, again Gates can’t fix it and has to send it to a Chrysler dealership, who is great btw, that is now making the repairs. They wouldn’t even call the dealership to schedule for it to be delivered because they didn’t have good luck with them; I wonder why…so I had to call and schedule and they still tried to charge me to have it towed over there. Please make this make sense. My extended warranty through jeep is covering the repairs and still Gates refused to get me a loaner or cover the cost of a rental. I’m curious what my warranty through gates is even for at this point. I am beyond disappointed in Gates and would never recommend them to anyone. Oh I did pay for the original tow to the shop picture added…

After getting divorced and buying my first car in 25 years, my anxiety was pretty high. The team at Gates Chevrolet South Bend took all the stress out of the experience for me. Kolin made sure I found a car with all the features I was looking for and that I knew the car inside and out before it left the lot. Derek went above and beyond, helping me with financing, getting the warranties that I wanted, and taking the extra time to handle all the out-of-state paperwork. These two genuinely care about getting you into the right car at the right price. You can feel it. 10/10 would recommend! These guys will treat you like family.

I went into this gates, and I wasn't expecting to leave what a car. The same day, Travis Walsh it's an awesome salesman i would recommend anyone go to him. He helped me stay in my budget and the other Business managers did their best also to make sure I left satisfied And they were very lenient with me. And I really do appreciate what they have done for so if you're looking for a gates, what great salesmen and business managers that actually care and help this would be your one
