Genesis Memphis Covington Pike

I love the customer service. The wait time is awesome ( no more than an hour). I have a Gensis service no more than 5 min from my house in Olive Branch, Ms. and prefer to drive 30- 45 min away in Memphis, TN. Now that's what you call go customer when you are willing to go far. Thank you Taylor Smith for your communication, patience and making sure your customer understand what is expected.

I recently purchased my second vehicle from this dealer over the last three years. I'm a big comparison shopper and Gosset offered me the best deal both times, hands down. The purchasing process was painless and Alvin was a pleasure to work with!

SERVICE DEPARTMENT: If I could give this location a 0 I would. This location is HORRIBLE for service. Our 2022 Genesis GV70 was towed into this location from Jonesboro on 5/11 due to a stalling issue. We tried to jump it on the road where it stalled and at a garage and would not start. First thought, battery. Unfortunately, the battery isn't under the hood. It is in the rear cargo area under the mats and near the spare tire. No one wanted to work on it here in Jonesboro. Remember, towed into dealer on 5/11 with a 1pm appt to be fixed. No call to update me on 5/11. I called on 5/12 they stated they didn't have me in their system even though appt was made, I gave information again. I called on 5/13 and they stated they were switching computer software and finally found my name and info. I called on 5/14 and was told I was next in line. No update on 5/14. I called on 5/15 and they stated their technician was out and they were low staffed and their Hyundai techs could not work on the Genesis vehicles-WHAT??. I called on 5/18 and stated tech was working on it and they would call me with an update. No Call!! Finally, on 5/19 they installed a couple recall issues and a new battery, car fixed. My wife works the same times they are open and I cannot drive due to a chronic health condition, so the car could not be picked up until 5/23 when my wife could get a ride to pick it up. Picked up and brought home on 5/23. WAY more to this story but to hard to include in this review. I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANY GENESIS TO THIS LOCATION FOR SERVICE--EVER!! And to top it off, the car was dirty and back seats folded down. Our car is always kept up (washed, waxed, and interior cleaned, vacuumed). Now needs wash, wax, interior vacuumed and cleaned due to dirty clothes and hands with tech not cleaning areas off. (i.e steering wheel, sunroof area, touch screens, etc). Lesson learned to never trust this Service Department. We will be going elsewhere if other issues arise in the future. They did give me 10% off for all the "troubles" they caused, no communications, systems down, not taking information from my initial appointment time, tech being off and low staffed, otherwise known as giving me the "runaround." Good luck people if you take it there for service, you'll need it.

The service was fast. The professionalism was top tier. Everything was explained in details. I had a great experience.

I was just serviced last week but I want to take the time to acknowledge my representative. Danielle is my definite “go to” with any visit I have. She’s alway warm with a welcome and takes care of me from start to finish. She’s definitely a gem. And I appreciate her great customer service. The other representatives are sweet as well. And I don’t know how name but the man that refills your fluids is always fun and cracking jokes. I always come to Covington pike for my services and will always continue. I hope this reaches the right people so that you all can thank them 1 by 1 for the jobs they do
