Gengras Motor Cars

Check the Service Dept. ratings for Gengras Jeep, they aren't very good and I know it personally. The whole experience from my used vehicle purchase to my last Service appt with them ever, has been an ordeal. They sent a $50 gift card saying confident in their superior service, 🙄, yeah, this won't get used. I guess they don't check the negative ratings to see they have real issues. Buyer beware.

I recently had an appointment for an oil change and 4 new tires on my Grand Cherokee but the Fairfield service dept did not seem too interested in finding me tires (the Goodyears I had are discontinued). Texting back and forth with them, I provided the tire size and a pic of my tire. Told them I did highway driving and don’t need off road. Checked back the day before the appt. and they still didn’t find anything and I get asked again what size and what kind of tires I wanted. Ended up canceling my appt. I bought my last 2 Grand Cherokees at this dealership along with servicing and never ran into this before. You just lost a customer, and probably a +\- $1200 service cost.

I recently paid $200 for a diagnostic check on my vehicle’s check engine light. After the inspection, I was told that repairs would cost over $2,000, and that the repairs had to be completed before any further work could be done. I feel this approach is excessive and not transparent, especially considering the high initial diagnostic fee. I’m concerned about the value and necessity of these recommended repairs and would appreciate a clearer breakdown of the costs and options.
