Went in for an oil change left with a new car. While I was waiting for my car I wondered around looking at new models and Dewan stopped and asked if I liked the Murano. I said sure but my lease wasn’t up yet. The rest is history. I left with a new Murano. Salesman, sales manager, finance officer were all good to work with. I actually enjoyed the friendly negotiations even though I know the dealer always wins. Even a couple of techs from service dept were helpful in figuring out why I couldn’t get the seat slide to work properly. My only complaint is whom ever prepped the car after my purchase did a very poor job. I had to spend an hour the next day cleaning the windows because someone had used a dirty rag and streaked something over the windows and smudged the control panels. Also the plastic ties were sticking up through the floor mat. Not a big deal but when I get into a new car I expect it to look new.

When I first leased this vehicle in June of 2023 it was under a different dealership. In writing, the financial person wrote free tire rotation for the duration of the lease. My first maintenance visit, they honored this write-in although I did not have the paperwork and new management said they did not have a copy. By my third visit I found my paperwork, but they did not honor the write in. We are talking about maybe $40 a visit. At that time I determined that Gerald Nissan believed that it was more important to charge me a tire rotation fee as opposed to working with me. Fast forward to end of lease. I purchased the car, but Gerald Nissan would not waive or reduce the doc/proc fees. Their personnel was like we are not making money off this deal, so we are not waving the fees. I will not be back🤷🏾‍♂️
