# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews reflecting significant service department issues, including extended wait times for appointments and unresolved repair delays lasting months, though some customers praise the sales team's professionalism and product selection. Notable concerns include poor communication, unexplained parts failures, and perceived lack of accountability, while positive experiences highlight attentive sales staff and successful vehicle purchases.
Review is for zacahry location but they keep getting google to remove it. Took vehicle in mid November 2025, the 14th to be exact. Took a week to get any correspondence and it has been horrible since. As of MLK 2026 no vehicle returned. Service writer really screwed it up and dealer offered to handle all repairs at their cost after I suggested I would be contacting a lawyer after repair cost estimate went up 1000% and I have a lifetime warranty. However that was before christmas and again no vehicle yet. I am patient but this place is a joke Tried calling with no return call as of this review. Never mind there has been random intermittent communications via text. Its always we need more time, part or $$$ even though I have a lifetime warranty. Now it's just that they dont know what they are doing in my opinion and making excuses. Luckily I dont need the vehicle and that is the only reason I am still just laughing at how inept this place is. Called and Finally got through and talked to a dealership manager. He didn't recall details well and I had to remind him of it all. I recorded conversation for legal purposes. They claimed delay was because I said it wasn't urgent. Well 2 months and no effort on their end is more than enough patience on my end I feel. Promised a call back but didnt get one. Had to call them back. No one in service got a message to call me Apparently now there is something else they need to fix. Yet the person an just hour ago didn't know this. Such a joke. Going to take another week or so to get more parts. Or so I am told No one has named the part being referred to. Yet I've been told twice parts have come in and then were defective. Forward to No uodate other than we are still waiting for a part that they cannot tell me name of. Uodate Feb 2 2026 Another week and another "failed part on arrival" amazing how many bad parts they seem to get. Feb 6 Another week of no updates or call backs. Called and was told I would get a call back on status. Still nothing and now they habe stopped responding to texts which they initiated.
I bought a vehicle that they had sold before. They used special screws that are impossible to remove to attach a front plate with their logo on it. So I either have to damage my vehicle or leave their crappy logo on MY car.
Yes you call this number I tell you did! You dreenking? I know you calling me cause you want the numba for Dodge... DO NOT HANG UP. WHAT IS YOUR ZIP. CODE!!!
I had an awesome experience recently at Gerry Lane-(Florida location)! Sales ladies Daquayla Webb (DQ) and Keisha Smith were awesome, along with finance personnel Jerry Mitchell!! Daquayla Webb (DQ) made sure I received all discounts including the Medical Professional offer and I received good offers for my trade-ins!! They were very professional, patient and had all the answers to the questions I had. I am a VERY satisfied customer and absolutely love my 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe with 23 miles!! It was a steal! 💥 DQ, Jerry and Keisha are a GREAT asset at Jerry Lane!! I appreciate you all!
After making an 11 AM appointment 3 days prior, at Gerry Lane to get my tire repaired. I have had to wait 4 hours for what I thought would be a 2 hour process of waiting. I say 2 hours because I am cognizant that other work would be ahead of me and would have to finish it . This was an ordeal and horrible experience and feeling to be treated as a customer with such low concern and high neglect. I was told there was only one tire machine and to that end, that doesn’t satisfy or fix the issue for me or any other customer who may have or already have experienced this poor service experience. While I am understanding to the pressures in service, I was hesitant to post my review or feedback but it is important to express myself in this means and via this channel. I have spoken to Ryan the service manager after my last unpleasant and poor visit. Additionally, I expressed it to other managers and to no avail. While waiting 4 hours for my truck to get a tire patch and fuel filter changed out, I intentionally tried to distract myself by focusing on other things and casually walking around the lot. I express this because why and how is the front end of this dealership is more concerned about service than the actual service department. Unbeknownst to me, I was being noticed by the sales and general manger . I was stopped and was asked by John (very kind) of why I was there and he recalled me from the last visit. We chatted for minutes about work and other matters. John went to inquire of the delay, The general manager (Keoki) got involved and went to inquire of the delay. Kevin (assistant service manager) came to inquire of my delay and got involved also. Lastly, the finance manager even inquired of my delay . Kevin returned and said it would be another 20 minutes and it ended up being approximately 40-45 more minutes. Not his fault, he was trying to appease and calm me . However, facts are the facts. Megan, service manager assistant came to check in with me and went back to talk to the service manager, and after that conversation, I was offered 10% off for my frustration and delay. I shared with her , that’s insulting to offer 10% off , the equivalent of $17 for this issue. Truck was finally completed and brought around, and Megan escorted me to the cashier. Approaching the cashier, Megan shared with her, I had been there well beyond the time necessary or in excess. “Would you please get him checked out expeditiously “? Cashiers response, “that sounds like a service issue.” What a response, I had enough of this point and began to share, NO, this is an everybody or every department issue. If service continues to be this poor, then the whole is affected. No one would want to buy vehicles and then it impacts the need for cashiers , etc. Absolutely poor service and I would not come to their service department. Had I known I would receive such horrible service at Gerry Lane GMC I would not have purchased my vehicle from her. The free oil change they use as a sales tactic costs you something. Consider this, I could go to a 5 minute oil change and get serviced within 15-20 minutes and continue my day, but if I’m 2-4 hours in a dealership waiting after having and APPOINTMENT, the costs is greater. I am hopelessly optimistic this will change in the near future, so choose your dealership and truck purchase carefully. If you make an APPOINTMENT and have hours to sit and wait for simple service and low expectations, and then have to pay in monetary currency, mental frustration and displeasure Gerry Lane service department could be the perfect place. Lastly, this is affixed to the service department glass and I find my service APPOINTMENT experience contradictory to many words they have meticulously and intentionally expressed. Specifically, to the words “to continue to provide exceptional service”, this was not exceptional at all. Maybe, they meant to say “excessive or exceedingly disappointing service “ . Buyers beware!
