Today we brought our grandson Michael to look at a 2008 ford ranger . The vehicle was exactly as the pictures had shown the truck was in excellent shape .i had been emailing with the sales people throughout the week and they were very responsive and helpful when we showed up to view it and test drive it.my grandson ended up buying the truck.it is his first vehicle purchase and we are very proud of him making this purchase

I've always been a bit skeptical about dealing with used car dealers... like many others I have been burned in the past when it comes to finding a suitable vehicle for our Canadian winters. I found Global's salesperson Ash to be very professional and helpful however. As you might imagine with an older car; I had a laundry list of concerns. These were all promptly addressed, and thus far the vehicle has performed as expected; with no ugly surprises, or major issues. Here's hoping it stays that way, even though their warrenty does offer some reasonably priced piece of mind. The back end transition also went smoothly. The vehicle was ready for pick up when Ash said it would be, despite an issue that cropped up with a security system that locked everyone out of the car. The safety, the plates, and the registration were all ready to go on time, as agreed upon though. Overall I am quite happy with my purchase, and with the process in general. I found a decent working vehicle, well suited to handle harsh winter conditions on a budget. Would Reccomend. Update: 5 days after picking up the car, I had it in to a local Canadian Tire to have some rims and winter tires put on. I asked them to have a quick, more for my own piece of mind than anything else. I was a bit disappointed when they told me the control arm bushings were bad (one was scored, and the other had separated) and that the steering rack bellows was split. All these parts should have been caught on the original safety. After speaking to Ash, they agreed to have me drop the car back to their mechanic in Hamilton; they replaced the control arm assemblies and the bellows. Although inconvenient, (not to mention a bit stressful) at least they addressed the issue, and replaced the parts that should have failed the original safety. Would still reccomend, Car has been running great, and I am still happy with my pirchase. The only thing I might have done differently, is maybe insist on a Pre Purchase Inspection.
