# Summary The dealership receives sharply divided reviews, with some customers praising individual salespeople and service advisors for knowledgeable, efficient, and transparent service, while others report serious issues with vehicle quality control, service department diagnostics, and warranty coverage that left them with significant unexpected repair costs. Common complaints include inadequate pre-purchase inspections on certified pre-owned vehicles, inflated service quotes, and reluctance to address underlying mechanical problems, whereas positive reviews highlight specific staff members who provided exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

per dealerships response added a few more pics, to verify this review is for Golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Chelsea, as their response is an attempt to mislead people who read this review. (Again, an example of how this dealership does things) pic of quote from their service Dept and one of their emails thanking me for purchase & reminding me of service. also adding response screen shot as they can always edit it. I purchased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership in September 2020. Just outside of warranty, at around 40,000 miles, the vehicle began experiencing widespread electrical failures. Multiple systems stopped working, including blind spot monitoring, fuel level sensor, auto start/stop, passenger airbag, and stability control. I was told the cause was water intrusion leading to corrosion in electrical connectors. At that time, the dealership replaced a camshaft but quoted me nearly $10,000 to repair the electrical issue. I declined the electrical repair due to the extreme cost and lack of confidence in the proposed solution. After the camshaft repair, I received the vehicle back with a new warning light (vacuum-related) that had not been present before. I was told this was also due to the electrical issue. Additionally, I was charged approximately $200 per warning light for diagnostics, totaling over $1,000, despite all issues clearly stemming from a single underlying electrical problem. It later became apparent that the premature camshaft failure may have been related to this same unresolved electrical/vacuum issue. In other words, a major repair was performed without addressing the root cause. I specifically asked the dealership to at least clean the corrosion, apply dielectric grease, and protect the affected connectors to prevent further damage—basic preventative steps. They declined to perform even this minimal work and instead provided me with a diagram so I could attempt the repair myself. In total, I paid roughly $3,000 and was left with a vehicle that still had the original problem, along with additional issues that appeared after service. I was essentially told the car would require a $10,000 repair to be functional—on a 5-year-old vehicle with around 60,000 miles. At that point, I walked away believing the vehicle was effectively unrepairable and decided to drive it as long as possible while finishing the last year of payments. About four months later, a lack of vacuum to the brake booster caused a stiff brake pedal during the first few presses in the morning, making it difficult to stop. I lived with it. Another four months later, the vehicle would not start at all—no fuel was reaching the engine. At that point, I was ready to give up on the vehicle entirely. Instead, I hired an independent mechanic to diagnose it in my driveway. He confirmed the fuel pump was fine and reviewed the same diagram of water-damaged connectors the dealership had provided. After questioning why no basic cleanup or protection had been done, he repaired and replaced the affected connections on the spot. Five hours later, every issue with the vehicle was resolved. I have now been driving the car for several months with no problems. The total cost for this repair was $650. For additional context, this vehicle was built in August 2020 during the height of the pandemic. According to my insurance company, at least one connector appeared to have not been properly fastened to the body, which may have contributed to the water intrusion. This dealership took no responsibility and provided little meaningful help in resolving the issue. After spending thousands of dollars there, the actual fix turned out to be straightforward and relatively inexpensive when handled properly. Very disappointing experience. Avoid buying a car here or taking in for a repair. Can be done cheaper elsewhere and they are too tied up in bureaucracy to actually be helpful.

I purchased my "Certified Pre-Owned" Chevy Trail Boss from this dealership on July 2nd of this year, a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty included. Within 3,200 miles the tail pipe fell off and the "Service Brake Pad" light came on. Upon having the dealership inspect my new truck, I was given a $2,000 quote in repairs, despite being talked into purchasing their additional top warranty package - Total Care Warranty… $400 for two bolts and a gasket, and $1,600 for brakes and rotors. Every vehicle I’ve owned has gone years before needing brakes and rotors. As the pictures show, my Trail Boss clearly wasn't given anything close to a proper inspection, let alone one that qualifies it as "Certified Pre-Owned." Their crappy "Total Care Warranty" didn't even cover new brakes and rotors, which would never have needed a replacement had they done a proper inspection prior to putting the truck on their lot. I will never give them my business again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else either. Their $3,461.00 "Total Care Warranty" scam and horrible customer service have me in awe that this dealership has even achieved a 3 Star Rating average.

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my 22 High Tide Jeep Wrangler. From start to finish, the process was smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. Tyler A. was incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicle. The attention to detail and commitment to great customer service really made a difference. I absolutely love my Jeep Wrangler, and I’m grateful for such a positive buying experience. I would recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a new vehicle!

I bought my first brand new vehicle ever (2026 Ram 1500) in December 2025 from Golling. My salesperson was Fernando K. Fernando was great to deal with and provided excellent customer service. I found him way more knowledgeable than other salespeople I have dealt with regarding the truck's features and functions. We had to return to complete the sale during the middle of a weekday. My wife had a short window before she had to return to work and I explained to Fernando that we were not interested in spending hours at the dealership getting the runaround. Fernando & the rest of the team were able to get us in and out in under 45 minutes, which is a new personal record for us! I am very happy with the vehicle, my dealership experience, and would recommend Fernando to anyone. I should add that a few weeks after the sale, I brought the truck back in for warranty service after experiencing weird defroster behavior. Anthony P. was my service advisor. He called me later in the day with an update. The issue I was having completely stumped the technicians and they had to elevate it to a Stellantis service tech conference call. They discovered that it is peculiar programming inherent to the vehicle and not a mechanical or electronic defect. This meant that they were unable to fix, but provided me with a workaround. I am okay with this as the service techs did everything they can to resolve and the issue lies with Stellantis HVAC software (I have filed an issue ticket with Stellantis in the meantime). Anthony was, by far, the most knowledgeable service advisor I have ever dealt with. He showed in-depth understanding of what is a rather complex issue and was able to competently explain what all had been done to resolve. As an engineer, I am a difficult person to impress with respect to automotive topics, but Anthony did just that.
