# Summary The dealership receives high praise from most customers for knowledgeable, patient salespeople who prioritize finding the right vehicle and providing stress-free transactions, though service department experiences have been marked by significantly higher-than-expected bills, poor communication, and unresolved customer concerns.
I just leased an Audi A5 from Graham Auto and had such a great experience! Dylan made the whole process fun and stress-free. He went out of his way to find the perfect car for me and made sure every detail was taken care of. Al also made the transition smooth by giving me an incredible value on both my purchase and my trade. The two of them were awesome to work with and really made me feel like a priority. I absolutely love my new Audi and can’t recommend Dylan, Al, and the team at Graham Auto enough!
Definitely worth the 2 hour drive! I saw a car on Facebook Marketplace and reached out to Steve Raanes about a test drive. So happy I did. Steve was amazing from the start. He was open and honest, he wasn't pushy or just trying to make a sale. He truly just wanted to help ensure we were getting what we wanted. It was such a wonderful experience. We bought the car and couldn't be happier! Steve went above and beyond. I would tell anyone looking to go to Graham Automotive and ask for Steve Raanes.
We thought we knew what we were shopping for, but Tyler took plenty of time without pressure to go over many vehicles in our price range until we knew exactly what we wished to purchase. He worked with us on cost and was patient with delayed pick up due to our distance from Sioux Falls. He was knowledgeable, interactive and personal. We love our Palisade and would certainly purchase from him again!
I would not recommend Graham Automotive. We have taken our 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan (which we love) to their shop four different times, and we have never once left happy. Every visit feels the same — our concerns aren’t truly listened to, and the final bill is always far higher than expected. Most recently, on 3/4/26, we brought the vehicle in for a $30 part (which we were completely fine paying for) and two key fob batteries (also not an issue). When we received the bill, it was over $500. They charged $175 just for the diagnostic appointment — which took two months to even get scheduled — and somehow it took all day to replace one small part and two batteries. Communication was even worse. My wife hadn’t heard from them since 11:00 AM when they told her it would only take an hour to finish the vehicle. By 5:15 PM, I called to simply ask, “Is my vehicle ready for pick-up?” I was transferred multiple times, placed on hold twice for several minutes, and had to repeat the same simple question three separate times. After all of that, I was finally told their technician had stopped working on the car mid-repair and that it wouldn’t be done until the next morning. They blamed it on “miscommunication.” I tried calling previously to discuss charges and received no answer and no callback. The lack of communication, organization, and basic customer service is incredibly frustrating. We love Volkswagen vehicles, but we absolutely hate the customer service at Graham Automotive and will not be returning.
Well, I would like to share my experience in buying a preowned vehicle at 41st auto with Ryan Herr. First, I took all my savings out to buy a Buick enclave and he delivered it to my house. He was such in a hurry hardly any of the paperwork signed. He didn’t leave a card. There was nothing with his name on it. I didn’t have any time to look it over or a test drive and he just left Never offered me a warranty anything, Which I have on video and a recording, He told me the tires were great. The whole car was. Impeccable shape it had a few minor scratches, and these minor scratches were not minor. They were covered with paint that didn’t match the car and Big scratches on the drivers rear end that looks like a sideswipe so after that he left or actually he ran. Said he didn’t have time to fill up my gas But when I pick up my paperwork, he would fill it up. Well, never offered me a warranty anything on this car I absolutely love. I bought my own warranty through Endurance and there was a waiting. So I’m like surely this car is going to make it 30 days or 1000 miles well guess what every coolant from that car Antifreeze oil transmission, fluid lines leaked my wires were showing on the tires. It didn’t make it. So I contacted the dealership they said to contact my warranty and just explain and they’ll waive the 300 miles I’m short For a mechanic to fix it, Well, the warranty company wouldn’t so I have been without in a car since January 30 Using my mother‘s car who is 80 when I can. I am a widow who is disabled and I have two grandchildren I have Custody of and also I take care of two foster children and I’ll go to school and daycare No loaner car was offered. So eventually, Ryan stopped taking my calls so I called the general manager, Jason From Graham auto, he basically told me to say the same thing to the warranty company And I told them I already did so again I spoke to him he was going to talk to the owners of the To see what they could do to help me because my car is sitting at the garage, so almost 2 weeks without a Car and four little children the principal of the school even came and picked them up so the children could get to school. So now the general manager of Graham auto is no longer taking my calls and was supposed to call me back yesterday and the latest today Guess what? No call so now my mechanic has no clue what to do because of these uneducated sales people. Tomorrow I talk to a disability attorney because I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of I could understand if it was longer than a month. Well, maybe I couldn’t especially when I worked with Ryan And Jason at Sioux Falls Ford, and they were my sales managers. I have been in car sales for 12 years until I retired and I would never treat my customers the way they have treated me. I have videos. I have pictures of my car flooded underneath the hood up. There is not even windshield wiper fluid. That shows there’s no antifreeze nothing I videoed under the vehicle. Anything I could do as far as I’m concerned these men. Me and four little children in an unsafe car and we could’ve lost our lives. I am second by the events that I’ve taken place and I will have an Attorney draw up the paperwork tomorrow and the American disability act is going to be involved and I hope both of them are happy to make a few dollars and put people’s lives in jeopardy. I have never worked at a car dealership that would do this to any customer, but apparently they need the money.
