I’ll preface: we don’t buy a lot of cars (new or used), so unfamiliar with all the in’s & outs. That said: Lucas McDonald & the folks at Griffin Toyota made the purchase of our new Grand Highlander as easy as it could have been. Small back story: been searching for this GH since Nov of 2024. Have talked & communicated with, at least, 8 or 9 dealers. All of them said it was tough getting these GHs and most of them said the specs I wanted were gonna be tough. After coming close with one dealer. Then putting a deposit down on another dealer, that feel through as they seemed NOT to be able to get what I wanted after they said they could… I could Lucas on social media. From the start, he was very confident in his promises in being able to get what I was looking for. I told him all the (bad) experiences I had had up to that point. Was honest with him in that the same things he was telling me, I had heard from others & those never came about. He assured me, many times, “I got you!” Fast forward about 10 weeks and sure enough… picked up our new ride yesterday!! Everything he had told me as we worked through the specifics held true. The OTD price, interest rate (actually came down), the car specs… all the stuff he had told be is what we got. At the dealership to review & hopefully sign for the car… flawless. And absolutely no added pressure at time of signing. Just full disclosures, options, advantages. No pressure. Quick. Easy. Comfortable transition for Lucas & the Griffin group. Highly recommend them!!

Griffin Toyota in Hamlet, NC was an absolute pleasure to deal with on a recent purchase. All haggling was done responsively via email and once we came to a price, it was under 90 minutes from walking in the door with a cashier's check to driving off in my new car. Pricing was fair, honest, and transparent with no bogus add-ons of wheel locks, nitrogen filled tires, window tint, or unwanted service plans. The sales manager Cameron was easy to deal with via email and not reluctant to share real numbers. Our salesman Lucas was polite, professional, and treated me and my daughter as valued customers and potential repeat customers. He spent a lot of time to teach the various features and infotainment options of the car to my daughter and me. I drove 7 hours round trip to get the car and I'll do it again on my next Toyota; it was that refreshing compared to the standard "struggle session" experience of car buying in the Augusta, GA metro area.

Amazing experience as an out of state(South Carolina) buyer. Lucas was great to work with the whole time from reserving the car to picking it up. He updated me and answered all my questions along the way. Eric was great in finance, was really quick and he handled all the SC state paperwork to transfer tags, etc. Super happy with our new Sienna!
