# Summary This dealership receives consistently high praise for its sales department, with customers highlighting friendly, pressure-free transactions and fair pricing negotiated by knowledgeable staff members. However, the service department has drawn significant criticism for poor communication, missed appointments, delayed parts ordering, and failure to keep customers informed about repair progress.
Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. Ordered a replacement keyfob, got charged but no keyfob. Called over thirty times, yes thirty times with no response. Do not go to this dealership. After being released from the hospital and able to contact them they were able to be given the service I had hoped for. The truck is running perfectly electronically and even saved me a trip for a secondary trip. Being disabled they even helped me into my truck. They went above my expectations.
It’s so refreshing to know there are still great guys out there! So many dealers do questionable business these days but the folks at Growney are the real deal. Alex was so nice, professional and personable from minute one. I can’t say enough good things about my sales experience. When I need another GMC this will be my first call.
I had a very good experience buying a new vehicle here. I highly recommend to give them a look. Great staff, friendly and helpful.
No pressure on sale and worked with me on a reasonable cost reduction. Offered several alternatives for trade in and allowed me to test drive the vehicle over the weekend.
3-16-2025 update: So despite the problems I had with them in the past I decided to give their sales department a chance. To my surprise it was the easiest most pressure free car buying experience I've ever had. They made me a great deal, I genuinely felt like they were trying to get me the most money they could reasonably get me for my trade in, and the best possible financing they could find. I worked with both Joey and Shelby on the purchase and everything was smooth, easy and friendly. I now see why most of their reviews on here are so good. I brought my car in for service, they were able to identify the problem quickly enough and let me know what was needed. They had to order parts though. I waited for about two weeks for them to let me know the parts were in, but they hadn't called. I called them and it turns out the parts were in fact there and they just forgot about me. So I made an appointment and dropped my car off at 9 on Tuesday. I hadn't heard anything by 9 on Wednesday so I called and it turns out they ran into another issue that they needed approval for more time to find the cause of. I guess they just weren't going to call and let me know that. Then I was told they would look at it again Wednesday afternoon, which is already a problem since they hadn't resolved my issues during my appointment. If my original problem still persists why do I go to the back of the line? By Thursday afternoon after not hearing anything about what they found out Wednesday afternoon when they were going to look at it again, I called and found out that they hadn't looked at it again at all that in fact they were going to look into now at 130 Thursday(that's today by the way). Communication from this place has been pure trash since almost the beginning. Hopefully these guys at least know how to fix a car, I wouldn't know since I don't have it back yet. This is the kind of service they expect me to pay a lot of money for. Well if this is what I can expect, this will be the last time I take my car to this place. 2-4-2025 update: I was told I needed another part for my car. They ordered it we set an appointment for today, and we dropped the car off at the scheduled time. They said it would take about 90 minutes to finish. 30 minutes later I receive a call telling me they're really sorry but the part hasn't actually come in. This should have been handled as a phone call before we ever showed up, not after my car sat there for 30 minutes. The service has not improved at all so far, with the exception of the fact that they actually called me this time instead of me waiting 90 minutes then having to call them to find out that they screwed me over again.
