# Summary The dealership receives consistently high marks for sales staff professionalism and personalized attention, with several customers praising specific salespeople for their patience and straightforward approach. However, significant complaints about the service department center on warranty coverage disputes, unclear explanations, and finance office practices that allegedly contradict previously agreed-upon terms, with one customer reporting they took their business elsewhere after their concerns were dismissed.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in quite some time! My wife’s key fob stopped working so she went to Grubbs Volvo where we purchased the car and warranty to get it replaced. They (Dalton in the service department) proceeded to try and find things wrong with the car instead of checking the warranty. He wasted an hour of her time to tell her the key wasn’t covered under warranty… This is where it gets crazy. I proceeded to call the service department and they told me the key fob isn’t covered under the platinum wrap around warranty with unlimited miles that I purchased from them. They told me the key was damaged and I needed a separate warranty to have it replaced. I told them it was covered and they argued with me and said it was not. I spoke with the warranty company they use and the warranty company confirmed it was ABSOLUTELY covered as long as it wasn’t damaged. It was not damaged and either mechanically or electronically failed. I called back to Grubbs to speak with Richard Terrazas who was extremely antagonistic, rude and not customer service oriented. He told me he was not going to argue with me about the warranty and I can take my business elsewhere (which I have). He wouldn’t let me speak with another manager. I called back until I was connected with someone else. We went round and round and I finally gave up since they don’t know how their own warranties work. My wife went up there to get her key fob changed and test drive a new vehicle she is looking to purchase. We will not be returning to this dealership and I advise everyone to disregard their service department and to not believe a word they say about warranties. They have no way to see your warranty and just go by what they “believe” the warranty company will say. Richard Terrazas and his team are one of the worst service departments I’ve ever dealt with and I look forward to their blatant lies about this situation. Here is a photo for all to see how “damaged” our key fob was. *Update I took my vehicle to Park Place Volvo and they checked the key fob, called the warranty company, and replaced the key fob in under 3 hours at no charge as they understood how the warranty works. They did a wonderful job of keeping me updated via text and in person. There was no hassle and customer service was great!

Had a wonderful experience leasing a Polestar 4 from the folks at Grubbs. Our Salesperson, Tommie, was patient with us and worked hard to answer all of our questions, and to get us comfortable with the math so we could move forward with the lease. You could tell that our business was important to Grubbs, and the Sales Executives and Financing Department were universally accommodating. Clean and modern showroom and a relaxed environment made the whole experience feel catered. We could not be happier to put our newborn daughter in one of the safest and most comfortable EVs on the market. Thank you Tommie and Grubbs Volvo Grapevine!

Huge shoutout to Andrew Shannon in the Service Department! From start to finish, he was personable, professional, and genuinely great to work with. I brought my vehicle in during Grubbs’ Memorial Day special, and the whole experience was refreshingly stress-free. Andrew kept me updated every step of the way and, best of all, I never felt pressured into unnecessary services or upsells. It’s hard to find honest, customer-focused service these days, and Andrew absolutely delivered. Highly recommend!

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership recently and had a very mixed experience. I arrived around 3:30 PM and didn’t leave until 8:20 PM. The salesperson I worked with, Jacob, was professional and straightforward. We negotiated back and forth as expected in a typical car deal and eventually agreed on a final number. The dealership also agreed to match the financing rate I had already secured through my credit union at 4.65%. I signed paperwork reflecting that agreement before going into the finance office. The issue occurred during the finance portion of the process. After waiting nearly three hours just to meet with the finance manager, we finally sat down to complete the documents. I expected the standard warranty and add-on discussion, which is normal, but my budget had already been clearly established. When the finance manager turned the screen around for me to review the final numbers, the interest rate had changed to over 7%. I immediately asked why the rate was different, and I was told they could not match my credit union’s rate after all. This was concerning because I had already signed paperwork stating they would match the 4.65% rate before entering the finance office. When I questioned the discrepancy, the explanation was unclear, and instead of directly addressing my concern, the conversation shifted toward suggesting I could refinance later. I also did not appreciate being addressed as “buddy” during this discussion. Regardless of whether a deal is large or small, professionalism and respect should remain consistent. After I expressed that I was prepared to walk away from the deal due to the sudden change, the finance manager left the office and returned saying they would correct the rate. The numbers were then adjusted back to what was originally agreed upon, and the process continued. While the sales portion was handled well, the experience in finance was frustrating and felt unnecessarily stressful at the very end of a long process. To anyone purchasing here READ carefully AND review every document and confirm that the agreed-upon terms match what is presented in the finance office before signing.

I had a great experience purchasing my new Volvo XC60 from Grubbs Volvo Cars Grapevine. Kenneth and Hamam were both very professional, patient, and easy to work with throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything clearly, worked with me on the numbers, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated their honesty, communication, and willingness to help me find the right deal. I’m very happy with my new XC60 and would definitely recommend asking for Kenneth and Hamam if you’re looking for a Volvo.
