I recently picked up a Corolla GR from Guelph Toyota. The whole experience from the time I messaged them about the car until the time I picked it up was fantastic. The sales rep Zach was next level. His low pressure sales tactics allowed us to build a proper relationship and most importantly trust. I have been to a lot of dealerships over the last few months and it was a welcome refreshing experience and definitely a major factor in my choice to go with Guelph Toyota even though I live 2 hours away and made to make the trip three times it was worth it. The business manager Chris was also great to work with when it came to the extended warranty’s and other associated add ons. Overall it was a great experience that was unlike any other dealerships I’ve worked with recently (I really feel the car buying experience has really deteriorated over the years, it’s too rushed sales reps no longer know the technical facts of they cars they’re selling and just pressure you to sign) I would absolutely recommend talking to zach the next time you’re looking for a new ride, he knows his cars and was fun to work with.

She even arranged two Uber rides for me, which I truly appreciated. She went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free. Rami in finance was also great to work with. I recently purchased a brand new 2026 Tundra Platinum 1794 edition from Zach Shillingford at Guelph Toyota. Even though I went in to look at a pre-owned one, I would like to say here, that after a healthy discussion with him and after reviewing the situation from multiple angles, and much family discussion, the pros on buying new, definitely outweighed the cons. Once the decision to buy new was confirmed, Zach made the whole process smooth and snag free, was very polite and courteous at all times, answered questions out of working hours by text, and even though he did admit to being new to the business, save for a couple of very technical questions, seemed right on top of his game. I would definitely recommend him as the ‘go to’ guy at Guelph Toyota, Royal Motors, after my pleasant experience.

Avoid this place. They charge $200 immediately and still couldn’t diagnose a basic problem. Their solution? Pay another $800 so they can “keep looking.” I ended up diagnosing the issue myself—a leaking roof rack—using a simple hose test. When I covered it, the leak stopped. Meanwhile, they claimed there was no leak at all, which is clearly not true. Look at this picture do you think my roof is leaking? *Update* it rained last night and there is an actual puddle in the van. But there is no leak according to your techs? PS who ever is managing this page, it’s not a good look when you only reply to the 5 star bot reviews and ignore the 1 star reviews from real people 😂
